I had tried everything and anything to change my situation and be loved in my past lives. When I found out it was hopeless, I even killed myself. It's not like anyone even bothered to look for my body.
This life, I am done. I don't care what they say, do and how they act. I don't even have the energy to kill them again, as I did in my past life. I don't want love, praise or intelligence. I don't care for it; all I want is to sleep.So, when I opened my eyes In my small bedroom and found myself in a blue-green dressing gown , with gold details surrounding the knitting, I was just tired. Tired of everything.
An aggressive-sounding knock sounded from the direction of the door to my room.
"Lilith, get your pathetic ass downstairs right now. I don't know why dad wants you but I'll be happy if you get beaten again,that's what you get for killing mom..." he started, nearly bellowing.
He was way too loud for my liking.
"You are noisy."
He looked very startled. It was amusing.
"W-What did you just say?! Did you finally go crazy?"
Ezekiel Ekhiel had ice blonde hair and blue eyes, which now sparkled in the morning sun, just like dew.
I had nothing to say and, as he wasn't getting any quieter, I passed him and went downstairs to father.
I knew he was about to force me to marry me to an old geezer and sell me off, but I wouldn't beg the crown prince to marry me this time. The reason being he was a d*ck, cough, I mean a dangerous person who was not loyal to me and also neglected his fiancée and duties.All in all, he was a player.
The coming of age ceremony was due to be this evening, but I was not about to participate in it and follow the events of the novel, where I would get humiliated by the other nobles for the money spent on the occasion. Instead, I would do what legitimately any villainess and isekai-ed person could and would not do: I would run away. I did not need a lot of money, I learnt more ways to earn money in my lives than I could spend.

After I reached the final step of the golden spiral staircase, i passed yet another corridor and knocked on the Duke's door.
"Father I have arrived."
A servant opened the door for me but glared daggers into my back all throughout. I let out a dry laugh. Nothing changed. My father, who was looking out the window, faced me and announced:
"I have finally found a use for you, wench. You will marry Count Balen and leave this household once and for all"
Count balen was a fat pig who took In many concubines and raped and abused women. Many of his wives died in the first year. He was the definition of a monster In human skin.
The other lives I had argued and disapproved many, many times, but it never worked. And plus, it would be bothersome to argue if I was leaving either way.
"Sure" and I left, leaving the Duke open-mouthed and stunned.
Elegantly, I strode past the knights and smiled, they were the only ones who stood up for me when I was executed. All were astounded and many blushed, hiding their faces. I was about to go back to my room for a nap, but reminded myself of a relic hiding one of the storage rooms. Hmm, it might be useful in the future, I thought. It came up at the end of the book when brother tried to save Ariel and they said it was very important. Ariel won't need it either way, I won't be there to kidnap her.

The maids and servants bustled around the mansion, preparing for the upcoming banquet but none acknowledged me, out of fear,but I liked it that way. The author really didn't do the villainess justice, she was maltreated and neglected and when she finally snapped, they blamed everything on her and killed her. Really a pathetic life. No one said anything when I went into the storage room and rustled through all kinds of silver trinkets and boxes.And, no one said anything when I took out a sapphire ring and placed it in the back pocket of my dress.I have no idea what it does, but if it helps me then why not?

I knew someone was going to get me to prepare for the banquet soon, so I hurried out the storage room and went to the side kitchen( the main kitchen was way too busy) to pack my belongings(food) and necessities ( food). I think all that dying made me hungry.
I was still in that tacky dressing gown, so I bribed a servant with wayyy too much money to switch to a slightly less tacky gown and made my way, unnoticed, to the courtyard and out to the capital. From here my peaceful life Plan begins!
