White walls. White floor. White sheets. White window. White clock. It was annoyingly blinding.
Tick. Tock.
Too bright and innocent.
Tick. Tock.
I was thirsty, bled dry by bitter tears I do not remember shedding. Years or seconds pass.

"Jeong? Hello? Do you hear me?"
It was a miracle we found you! We thought you were dead! You looked like you were drowning, are you sure you weren't a soldier before?
"That shouldn't matter, should it?"
Ditran Sogtarn, that simple-minded brunnete, seemed shaken."Oh... yes of course...Lilith"

Something was not right.

How does he know my name. He shouldn't know my name if, if he was not searching for me because of my family.

"You. You know my name."

"I said it's a miracle we found you. We thought you were dead." He smirked.

His confidence was disgusting.

That bitch.
My brother.

Why was I out cold? Why was I drowning? Why can't I remember anything else?

It was then I felt the chains. They jerked me up,pulling at a thorned collar on my throat... What? Oh, another betrayal. I shouldn't be surprised should I? The points on the collar dig in, not enough to draw blood-not yet. But i'm already bleeding from wrists. Manacles? Ah.
To be fair, I was always bleeding. Internal, I suppose. Slow wounds, ones that are not quite visible but dwell inside until you crack and erupt.

The colour stains my white sleeves crimson red and as bright as any field-born poppy.

"You're with my brother?"

I try my powers first thing, but instead I feel an empty well in its place. As if i used all of it the day before.

"Funny, should I applaud you for solving it,following the rumours about you being a spoiled, dumb bitch, or should I be disappointed you only just realised? You seemed different from the rumours... I thought you were." He laughed, trying to sound sinister.

Please, I genuinely can't listen to this. Kill me already. Or don't. Ah, yes no actually forget what I said; I need to survive.

His breath hitched for a moment:"However, a few weeks ago your brother told me a story... where you threatened my Ariel and spilled a drink on her dress at a banquet."

God, it's me again. Is it okay if I kill him now? Oh, but I might actually die this time again, I can't seem to even feel my body anymore.

"Had my brother told you that he wants to marry her?"

"What?" His look of utter confusion was a delicacy indeed.

"He does. And I assume you haven't told him about my... floral attribute? I could help you, you know."  I tried turning my eyes as seductive as I could, swallowing the disgust and hoping it would not show. I needed to get out alive and reach a quiet place far away. If this kind of manipulation is what it takes, then so be it.

His face turned unreadable- or he meant it to be that way. I could see the anxiety beneath.
"No. But it won't matter when I bring you to him, princess."

"You do know this is a kidnapping? Not very noble of you." I recline in the chair I am tied to and try the manacles. A hair-pin will do.

I do not have one.

"Says the person acting like a villain from birth. I should really teachyou a lesson." He steps closer.

A wire? Something sharp? The actual key maybe?

Nothing.

I mean, I was never the main character.

His first punch meets my face, and that is when I notice it. His earring.
