I open my eyes to... absolutely nothing. Darkness engulfs the whole room in a blanket of silence. Or should I call it eternal sleep? I will definitely not call it rest. I made sure they suffer in misery forever. As my eyes get used to the dark I see the familiar table-where my "father" beat me to death after I tried to ask about my mother, the small and filthy bedsheets-where I lay when they hung my past friends, the simple chandelier- where I then hung myself, the chimney poker- which I stabbed my brother with and the window, which I saw as I regretted all my choices.
~
The light turns on and a girl chained to a metal chair  is revealed. She had deep, dark scars covered under fresh, rage-inflicted wounds. Her face was barely recognizable,It looked like the work of a beast. She's in a cobalt grey room meant solely for torture; anyone could see she's been there for at least a month.
"Die. Just die. No one wants you and no one ever wanted you. Cant you see? The only time I have ever not despised you was when you agreed to kill yourself. But now what? Father wanted you here,tch."
Tangled locks of blonde hair moved, covering her face, however her chest was uncontrollable. Her sobs were so big and painful they were silent. She deserved the pain. She was useless. She was all alone again. Now the sobs weren't silent.
"I APOLOGIZE FOR LIVING. I-I just wanted to be loved. I lov-"
Her brother slapped her as hard as he could, her face moving to the side and blood splattering on the already red wall.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.I hate myself. I-I want to d-die. If you just let me out... I will kill myself."
The girl stuttered and mumbled in a mix of self-deprecation,fear and guilt.
He scoffed,"Don't you understand? I cant do that. Father would be mad. I'd rather see you cut your own wrists and die but I guess violating you in other ways would be satisfying enough."
At his call five gruesome men, who looked like mercenaries, entered the room.
"Is this the fun we were promised?"
"Yes it is. Just make sure she doesn't die."

No.no.No.No.No.No.No.No.No.No.No.

The girl erupted in screams and hysterical sobs.
"I'M SORRY PLEASE I BEG YOU DON'T-"

No.No.No.No.No.No.No.

Ezekiel laughed, smiling sweetly for the first time while he signaled for the monsters to be unleashed.

No.

Just as soon as they were about to touch her, she exploded in pure mortifying darkness.
That girl was me.
At least in darkness I couldn't see the faces I trusted betraying me.
~~~
I wake up with sweat on my forehead. I almost can't believe it. It's been a long time since I felt this... emotion? Strange. Why would my past life affect me like this? I thought I left it all behind when I murdered everyone.
I blink twice, to get rid of the lethargy and make my way across the inn room. The light of Dawn seeped into my room. I rub my bleary eyes and walk to the window. The dawn chorus of melodic birdsong drifted in. So, birds still sang when I suffered? And here I thought they were empathic animals. The sweet aroma of breakfast wafted into my nose. Ah, speaking of breakfast I need to get something to wear. All I have is this cloak and a pink drill party dress that looks like I vomited ribbons and glitter on it. Eugh.
Slipping out the window in the cloak, I glance towards the streets for any sign of the military and run across the rooftops. Ah, the wind in my hair. I certainly missed this sensation.
