Two weeks later
I can feel the fear flooding me inside as I walk towards him. Just stay calm and ask. It's only one question. I walk slowly struggling to move forward. One question. I know I can do this. Eden calm yourself down, you'll be fine. I continue walking forwards but begin to run when he starts running over to me. I wrap my arms around his neck when we collide and his arms intertwined around my waist. He lifts me up so my feet are no longer touching the ground. I rush of excitement blows over me as he spins me around exactly two times. My feet hitting the ground in an unbalanced matter. I tip forward ever so slightly so my head is resting on Asher's chest. "Um... so there was something I wanted to ask you," I spit out.
"And what would that be Eden?" he asks me.
"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to go to the library afterschool tomorrow," I respond, "It will be just you and me.".
"That would be great, I was needing some help with my maths homework," he tells me as a happy sigh escapes my mouth. Our smiles appear to be in sync and I'm glad I finally asked. "Anyway, I should probably be going now, I'll see you tomorrow. Bye Eden."
"Bye Asher," I say with a smile still spread widely accross my face. My smile slowly fading as Asher turns around and walks off into the distance.
"Hi Eden," a random voice appears out of nowhere.
"Um... Hi," I turn around and see Grace standing there.
"You guys are so cute together, you need a ship name," she tells me.
"Maybe, but what would our ship name be?"
"How about.... um... Ashden?" she suggests.
"I guess that could work, Edher is weird, Esher is also kind weird. Ashden it is." I say. "...Wait were you listening to our conversation?"
"Um.. yeah kind of. You should've seen your face when he picked you up," Grace mocks my face and we both collapse into laughter.
