i'm not going to make this fancy, i just wrote this because last night (when i'm posting this) i just needed comfort. :)
"you ever just want to jump off?"
"y/n, are you okay?" eren asked.
you turned your head to look at him as the two of you sat at the sea at 1 in the morning. you had bags under your eye and you looked like you were on drugs. "do i look 'okay' to you, eren? life sucks, you know that, we all have that pain. jean calls you a suicidal maniac, and not me, i'm the one more suicidal. it's because he thinks girls' lives are pretty and pink."
"you never show your thoughts with anyone but me though."
"but can't he tell, it's pretty obvious. i joined the scout regiment because i didn't feel worthy, titans aren't my problem. i always jump in front of everyone when they are even 30 meters from a titan, i look like shit, and i starve myself, doesn't he know?!"
there was a small silence before eren spoke up.
"jump off."
"what?"
"jump off. next time we go on top the walls, jump off. if you really want me to suffer more than i am, then jump. you know how much levi has taken a liking to you, he's treating you as his daughter! you're hange's favorite person to talk to, mikasa protects you almost as much as me, armin would be depressed because he has a crush on you, jean would miss teasing you, connie and sasha treat you as their triplet. you leaving wouldn't help for humanity's sake, you're one of our strongest. other than work talk, you won't be able to hear the words 'i love you' out of my mouth."
"you what..?"
"i love you."
"why? i'm not who you think i am."
"then what do you think i think of you as?"
"..."
"right. now, go jump off a building like you said earlier." eren said as he got up and walked away.
"wait! eren!"
he turned around at your call.
"d-do you wanna run away with me? i want to run off and ignore all our problems! i want to be able to be me without any worry! i want to yell from the cliffs and release all my stress!"
"sure!" he had a bright determined smile.
