Will Byers' POV:

Ever since we graduated high school, our group of friends don't see each other as often like we did in school. So our old group of friends, Me, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Max, and El got together to have a group reunion since a few of us had things to do when we tried to get together previously. We're staying over in Mike's basement, as always. Since it's gotten pretty late, we ran out of things to do, so some people are just wandering around Mike's house. For example: Lucas and Max said they were going to get a snack upstairs, but they've been up there for ages. Everyone's mostly fallen asleep at this point, except for me and Mike. I haven't actually spent time with Mike since middle school, he's pretty much avoided me all of high school. Mike has been zoned out for the past 20 minutes, and I found Mike's old colored pencils and starting doodling. I look up to Mike and find something to say.

"You want to find something to do? Your basement hasn't really changed through the years."

"Uh, Sure. What do you want to do?" Mike hesitated.

"What do you do in your spare time when everyone is asleep?"

"I don't know. Find something to do in my room, I guess? I mean we could go up there and find somethin'?"

"That sounds like a good idea, Dustin snores anyway." We laugh at my joke and I follow him up the stairs and we meet Max sitting on the counter with a drink in her hand and Lucas standing in front of her. We wave at one another and we start to walk up the stairs but Max interrupts.

"Where you two going?" Max wonders. We face her direction and I speak up.

"I don't know, we're bored and his basement isn't as excited as it used to be, so we're going to Mike's room to find something to do."

"You can come if you want?" Mike offers.

"No we're good right here. Thanks, though."

We finally get to Mike's room and I sit on his bed. Mike closes the door behind us then sits next to me. Mike isn't looking at me, and it's obvious he's doing it on purpose, not because he's busy looking for something to do.

"We could listen to music?" He suggest.

"Ok. What's on your mixtape?"

"Beatles, The Clash, Michael Jackson, Queen, The Smiths. That's just the main artists."

"I love The Smiths! And The Clash."

"That's cool! Me too! How did I never know this about you, I knew you liked that one song that your brother showed to you but that's it."

"Yeah, when I was little, Jonathan made me a mixtape and I would listen to it on repeat and I just grew a liking to The Smiths and The Clash."

Mike got up to grab his cassette player and put in his tape that's titled 'The Michael Wheeler Mixtape.' Michael Wheeler on the title is above words that are crossed out and I can identify only a few letters like a 'y' and a 'w.' I wonder what it was previously titled? By the time he sat back down it started to play. We jammed out for a nice period of time, but not too loud.
