Everything was red.His vision, his sword, his hands, his face. His White Eagle uniform was covered in blood.
He slaughtered and slaughtered and slaughtered. He cut stomachs open, let the blood wash away all of his feelings.
He was surrounded and destined to die. Greg and the others had used up all of their strength. They had to retire but he couldn't.
'This is my ground. This is the place where her body is laying. This is the last sky her eyes saw. This is a sacred place.'
"I WON'T GIVE THIS LAND TO YOU, DIRTY BASTARDS!"
The desperate fire of the exhausted mages was directed at him and burnt his skin but he kept running to the enemy and massacring them without mercy.
A loud groan came out of his mouth, like a wild beast, mourning.
"KILL! KILL! KILL THEM ALL! NO PRISONERS, NO MERCY!"
The knights and mages surrounding him looked at the wild beast in shock but couldn't help but follow him.
Those who had given up, those who agonized on the floor, those who had their skin burning like meat had nothing to lose and followed his lead.
They pulled through and managed to create an opening.
"Over here!" The knights called the survivors.
They followed them and broke out of the deadly circle.
But the beast didn't just break out and leave, he kept going against more and more exhausted enemies and slaughtered them like pigs.
The battlefield was drained of any magic and only swords remained, clashing and cutting through flesh.
The few crazy ones that followed the beast kept striking.
"THIS IS OUR LAND! GET THE FUCK OUT!"
More and more voices were heard, supporting his.
Desperate at first, empowered after some flying heads.
As he kept going, a hand grabbed him from behind and he cut through it and got out of the grasp.
The bloody hand stayed in the air, an indescribable look on the man's face.
"M... minus, we need to head back."
He didn't want to call the beast's name. He wanted to call him the name he gave to the funny kid that kept bumping into him.
The kid he wanted to be close to for some reason.
The one that helped him and he never managed to thank property.
"Out of my way" the bloody eyes, the crazy expression. The kid was no more. He was gone long ago.
The lifeless, rough voice then ripped into a broken roar, tearing and cracking as the bloody beast kept going, running towards the enemy. He was gone.
