As everyone had their piece of time with Amiel, he gently smiled and said that he was exhausted. Everyone immediately rushed him to bed, insisting he should get sleep right away.

As he waved at everyone with his constant smile, it faded as soon as he got out of their vision.

Noah was back. He was more present than ever after that vision the Goddess gave him. Even if he knew that it was all just an alternative future, the trauma was there. The beast that woke up that day never left his body.

He had an opportunity to kill the culprit behind Caleb's death, his thirst for revenge didn't fade away even if it didn't end up happening. He restrained his need to kill Wisingham, deciding to use him as long as that disgusting man was addicted to him.

As he arrived to his chambers, Swingler helped him bathe and change. But he didn't bother faking a happy face in front of his butler. Unlike Noah, Amiel would never make such a face in front of him.

"Is something bothering master?"

Swingler knew how unprofessional his question was but couldn't help but worry. His master had spent more than a month in the enemy's hands. He worried every day and even prayed the Goddess of Light, something he never thought he would do.

Amiel instantly took control, not having been present in the whole time he had spent with Wisingham, too disgusted that Noah was shameless enough to speak to the enemy.

He was, on the other hand, glad that it could benefit the kingdom.

"Oh, haha Swingler. I made such a scary face, I'm sorry. I was just thinking why I didn't kill their king when I had the opportunity, that's all. No need to worry."

The butler was surprised at the honest answer.

"Y...yes master. Please rest well."

"You too, Swingler. I see you lost weight. Take care of your health, it's important."

"... Yes, master. I'll do just that. Have a good night."

He was gone but the door wasn't left alone yet.
An angry Caleb burst in.

'Just as we expected.'

"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!"

"Cal..."

"So you're angry at me because I died in your dream or whatever!"

"Caleb..."

"But when it's you, you got the right to do whatever you want huh? Is that fair huh? What do you think I am to you?"

'She's mad.'

'As we expected.'

'I have no idea how to handle this'

'I do, just let me do it.'

'No, Noah! You're too aggressive!'

'Aggress... what?'

"Caleb, I..."

"SHUT YOUR MOUTH!"

'So I am too aggressive huh?'

'Ok, take control, I don't think I can handle an angry Caleb'

'No, no. I'll let you do it since I'm too aggressive'

'Oh come on!'

'Hehe. Good luck without me, not-so-aggressive me!'

"Do you think it's fair, huh? You knew all that would happen, didn't you? You knew how many they would be and how powerful that bastard is! You knew about that... black thing and you shot a damn arrow straight at that psycho! Are you fucking suicidal?"

"Don't swear!"

"I'll do whatever the fuck I want! You have no fucking idea how worried I was you... you! You... squirrel!"

"...what?"

"I don't wanna insult you!"

"Squirrel?"

"Whatever! Tell me what happened! I'll kill that piece of sh..."

'Good technic, I'm impressed. Just shut her mouth with your hand. What a powerful move!'

'Shut it!'

"Caleb, there's no need to worry. I had predicted everything. I know the future, remember? So there's no need to panic like this I knew exactly what I was doing."

"So... you were out of danger?"

"Yes, of course!"

'I did it! She finally calmed down.'

"BULLCRAP"

'Hahaha!'

"Your really want me to believe your bullshit here?"

"Caleb!"

'Hahahaha!'

"So you knew that his hit of black magic wouldn't kill you, that if he captured you, he'd just let you go, huh? You knew all of that huh?"

"Cal..."

"Don't lie to me!"

"I... no, I didn't know that."

"..."

'Noah, stop clapping your hands!'

'When I see a good performance, I clap.'

'You're such an ass!'

'Do you want me to take control already or what?'

'Go on'

'What's the magic word?'

'... fuck you.'

'Here we go!'

"Caleb, do you have any idea how tired I am right now?"

"I don't care you don...!"

"Oh... so you don't care? I see"

"No... I..."

"It's my decision, got it? I did what I had to do as a big brother and as a knight."

"Big brother?"

"Just think about it and you'll get it."

"..."

"Do you want me to apologize for protecting the only people that didn't treat me like shit? I won't!"

"Ami..."

"You won't get my apology, got it? I did what I needed to do to protect the people that gave me a reason to live. If any of you got hurt I'd have no reason to be alive, understand? So don't expect an apology."

"And you, you don't think you're my reason of living? What about me?"

"I'm sorry I made you worry but that's all. I'm a selfish person like that."

"Ami, you're such an idiot."

"I know." He got closer and caressed Caleb's cheek "but you still love me like crazy, don't you?"

'Ok, get your hands off her, now!'

'Watch and learn, virgin.'

'You... YOU!!!'

"I do." Caleb's lips were burning as soon as they touched his, the cheek, where Ami touched her was in a scorching fire.

A knock on the door brought them back to reality.

"We'll talk later," Ami said, knowing exactly who was behind the door.

"...Ok"

As Caleb walked out, her ears red like after being  pulled by angry parents, Greg entered the room and calmly closed the door.

"..."

"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!"

'Oh, come on!'
