Chapter 13 - End of Malekith

I walk behind Thor and Jane as a storm picks up. Jane looks back at us as we enter a cave. "He's gonna unleash it, not just on Asgard or on a star, Malekith is gonna destroy everything."

"How? Jane, how?" Thor asks.

"I saw him on Earth. Why would he go to Earth?"

"The Convergence." I speak up.

"Oh, God. None of this would have happened if I hadn't found the Aether."

"Then Malekith would have only possessed it that much sooner." Thor shakes his head.

"I only found it because I was looking for you." She sighs.

"Jane." Thor places his hand on her face.

"Now we're trapped here."

Suddenly we hear music playing, we all look at each other in confusion, "It's not us." I shake my head.

She takes out her phone device, "Hello? Richard?! Where are you?" She holds it up and looks around as the man in the phone talks. "Oh, my God! This is amazing."

"Is it? I quite enjoyed our lunch despite never actually ordering anything."

"How am I getting service here?" Jane asks.

"Is this a bad time? Do you want me to try you later?"

"No, no, no, no! Please, whatever you do, do not hang up the phone." She stops him.

"Okay then. I was just wondering if you want to try again?Uh...maybe dinner next time."

"Uh...yeah, yeah, yeah. Um...just stay on the phone, okay?" Jane starts to walk ahead, Thor looks at me before we follow.

"Yeah, I will."

Jane looks down, "Oh, my God." She picks up keys from the floor of the cave.

"Am I interrupting something."

"No, no, no, nothing at all." She turns to us, "Come on."

"I'm losing you there, are you in a tunnel?"

"Where are we going?" Thor asks as we follow.

"Hello?" The man asks.

I look down to see shoes, "Why are there so many shoes in here?" I ask.

Suddenly we are no longer in the cave...instead we are on earth! Jane takes us to her car and drives us to an apartment building, I look around as we walk inside. "Jane!" Her friend Darcy jumps up.

"Hey."

"You can't just leave like that, the whole world is going crazy!" She points. Thor hangs his hammer on the coat hanger next to the door. "All the stuff we saw is spreading." She looks at Janes dress. "Did you go to a party?"

"Erik?!" Jane asks.

"Jane, how wonderful!" He rises and goes to Jane and as he embraces her we see he isn't wearing any pants. "You've been to Asgard."

"Where are your pants?" Jane asks.

"Oh, uh...he uh...he says it helps him think." A man I've never met says.

"Okay. Well, I'm gonna need everything you got on this. All the work you've been doing on gravimetric anomalies, everything." Jane nods.

"Okay."

Thor smiles, "Are you well, Erik?"

Erik chuckles, "Thor...Thor's sister Y/N." He smiles. His smile fades quickly, "Your brother is not coming, is he?"
