Chapter 26 - Dreams

"Don't compare me with Stark! It's a thing with me. Stark is, he's a sickness!"

Tony, Thor, Steve, and I walk in behind Ultron. "Ahh, Junior. You're gonna break your old man's heart."

"If I have to." Ultron had upgraded.

"We don't have to break anything." Thor says.

"Clearly you've never made an omelet."

"He beat me by one second." Tony chuckles.

The twins walk up, "Ah, this is funny, Mr. Stark. It's what, comfortable? Like old times?"

"This was never my life."

"You two can still walk away from this." I nod at the twins.

"Oh, we will." She smiles.

"I know you've suffered."

Ultron interrupts Steve, "Uuughh! Captain America. God's righteous man, pretending you could live without a war. I can't physically throw up in my mouth, but..."

"If you believe in peace, then let us keep it." Thor nods.

"I think you're confusing peace with quiet."

"Yuh-huh. What's the Vibranium for?" Tony asks.

"I'm glad you asked that, because I wanted to take this time to explain my evil plan-" He blasts Tony as many bots land down around us.

I use my power to blast the bots beside me, I grunt as I am suddenly shot in the shoulder. I turn back and blast the soldier back, reaching back and pulling the bullet out as I heal. I fly up to the top level and kick a soldier down, grabbing him and throwing him into another soldier. I stop and turn as the girl, Wanda tries to warp my mind.

"Y/N! Status?" Steve yells.

I shake my head and knock down another soldier, "The girl tried to warp my mind. Take special care, I doubt a human could keep her at bay. Fortunately, I am mighty." I stop as the room changes, I was back on Asgard...at a party.

I look up as I see Heimdall, his eyes were white. "Is it her? Is that the daughter of Odin?

"Heimdall, your eyes?" I frown.

"Oh, they see everything." He grabs my face softly, "They see you leading us to Hel. Wake up!" He then starts to strangle me.

I struggle in his grasp, "We can still save you!"

"We are all dead. Can you not see?" I push him away from me. "You're a destroyer, Odinsdottir. See where your power leads." Suddenly my golden power strikes out of my skin, hitting those around me. I look Around in horror as more people die because of me. My head snaps up as I see flashes of stones...then eyes.

The room spins with my power, I open my eyes to see a vision of myself with Steve. I see myself loose control and I kill him.

I fall to my knees and cry as I see his body, I pick him up and cradle him against me, rocking back and forth as I sob. "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry my love." Suddenly his body moves, I pull back and scream as I see a destroyed Iron Legion bot. I fall back as I see another vision of stones and of strange eyes...a weird body.

I scream as I turn again to see I am now in Thor's arms. "Shh...it's okay. It's me."

"Are you real? Is this real?" I tremble as I look around us, noticing I was back in the shipyard.

"I'm real....I'm real, Sister." He holds my face. He notices I was trembling and scoops me up in his arms. I throw my arms around him and lay my head on his shoulder as I start to cry again.

He flies us to the Jet and sets me down, as he turns to leave I grab his hand and pull him back. "Don't leave me." I whisper, looking over to see Steve staring at me.

Thor sits beside me and holds onto me, "It's okay...You know your big brother will never leave you." He smiles as we take off.

After a couple hours we land down in a field, Thor holds onto my side as we follow Clint to a house. "What is this place?" Thor asks.

"A safe house?" Tony asks.

"Let's hope." Clint says as we walk into the house. "Honey, I'm home!" He yells. I look over to see a pregnant woman walk in, "Hi. Company. Sorry I didn't call ahead."

"Hey." She kisses him.

Tony leans in to Thor and I, "This is an agent of some kind."

"Lady and gentleman, this is Laura." Clint smiles.

"I know all your names."

We all look aside as we hear running, "Ooh, incoming." Two children run in and hug him.

"Dad!"

"Hi, sweetheart! Hey, buddy! How you guys doing?"

Tony leans in to us again "These are...smaller agents."

"Look at your face! Oh, my goodness!"

"Did you bring Auntie Nat?" The little girl asks.

Nat steps out, "Why don't you hug her and find out?"

The girl rushes towards Nat, who picks her up in her arms. "Sorry for barging in on you." Steve nods.

"Yeah, we would have called ahead, but we were busy having no idea that you existed." Tony says.

"Yeah, well Fury helped me set this up when I joined. He kept it off Shield's files, I'd like to keep it that way. I figure it's a good place to lay low."

I look down as Thor breaks some Legos and pushes them under a chair, I then look back up as my head starts to hurt. I see the visions of stones and destruction. "I need to find answers." I whisper to Thor.

"Let's go." He leads me outside.

"Y/N!" Steve runs after us.

"I saw something in that dream. I need answers, I won't find them here." I nod, I take a step back as he reaches out for me. I then look up and fly off.
