Chapter 28 - Ultron

As the others were getting the people out, I was flying above, observing and making sure no one was trapped in a building.

I close my eyes as I hear a strange sound from below the ground, just then bots break free. I fly down and blast the bots, I look to the left as I hear screaming. I flip around to find a family trapped in an alley with three booths coming for them. I use my power to surround the bots, throwing them back and destroying them.

"Come on!" The family of four grab onto me, I lift them up and take them where the others were hiding. Looking up in shock as the city starts to fly.

"Do you see...the beauty of it? The inevitability. You rise, only to fall. You, Avengers, you are my meteor. My swift and terrible sword. And the earth will crack with the weight of your failure. Purge me from your computers, turn my own flesh against me. It means nothing. When the dust settles, the only thing living in this world...will be metal." Ultron says from above.

"Y/N! Is there anything you can do to stop this thing?" Tony yells.

"I can try!" I fly up. I look over at Ultron and blast him, sending him flying far away from me.

I fly up high above the city, looking down and forming my golden power around the city. I grind my teeth as I try to hold the city still, it actually was working. My head snaps up as my eyes turn white.

Suddenly the entire city is destroyed from my power, killing every civilian and my friends. I scream out as I fall down below, landing in the destruction. I slowly pick up Steve's shield, holding it close against me as I start crying.

I gasp for air as I realize it was all a vision, I instantly stop using my power and let the city continue to fly. "Tony...I can keep doing that. I had a vision. I saw myself-" suddenly Ultron cuts me off by grabbing me and tackling me into a building.

"See something interesting?" Ultron asks me.

"You are pissing me off you stupid metal Bilgesnipe dung!" I yell.

"I-I have no idea what you just said." Ultron tilts his head.

"Its a big....it doesn't even matter." I shake my head.

"I feel like you have to tell me." Ultron points.

"They are huge, scaly and have huge antlers. They are repulsive and trample everything in their path."

"And their...dung? How am I like that?" He asks.

"It's huge....smelly and makes a terrible mess. It's annoying." I nod.

"Ah...okay. I smell?"

"We should probably..." I motion between us.

"Yes...of course."

I frown and tackle him, flying him up in the air and punching his metal chest, causing him to land hard on the ground. I hold my arms up as he flies back up, slamming my armored hands into an 'X' causing Ultron to be thrown hundreds of feet away and causing damage to his chest.

I turn back and fly down to see Nat fighting with Steve. I land down and punch the ground, my power flowing around me for miles, knocking destroying all the bots in this wave.

Nat smiles as Steve nods at me. "The next wave is gonna hit any minute. What do you got, Stark?"

"Nothing great. Maybe a way to blow up the city. That'll keep it from impacting the surface, if you guys can get clear." Tony says.

"I asked for a solution, not an escape plan."

"Impact radius is getting bigger every second. We're gonna have to make a choice." Tony sighs.
