Anguish

We all have felt these things in the last thirty minutes.

A ship had appeared outside ours, they invaded.....they slaughtered us. Some of our people were able to escape...but the rest of us didn't.

I was already weak, I didn't stand a chance against him...against his infinity stone.

Thanos.....he had beaten me...he had killed my people.

"Hear me, and rejoice. You have had the privilege of being saved by the Great Titan. You may think this is suffering. No...It is salvation. Universal scales tip toward balance because of your sacrifice. Smile...For even in death, you have become Children of Thanos."  The Maw says n

Thor was laying off to the side as I was laying in a pool of my blood below Thanos as he looks out the window. "I know what it's like to lose. To feel so desperately that you're right... yet to fail, nonetheless." He tangles his large hand in my hair and pulls me up, I gasp in pain as he drags me by my hair over next to Thor, Loki standing in front of us. "It's frightening. Turns the legs to jelly. I ask you, to what end? Dread it. Run from it. Destiny arrives all the same. And now, it's here. Or should I say...I am." He holds up his gauntlet as he turns me to face Loki, holding onto my head.

I spit out blood, gasping for air. "You talk too much."

"The Tesseract, or your sister's head. I assume you have a preference." Thanos says to Loki.

"Oh, I do. Kill away!"

"Loki..." I whisper in shock.

Thanos sets the gauntlet on my temple. The power stone glows brightly as he presses it on my skin. I scream out in pain, feeling like my head was being split in half. "LOKI!" I scream.

"ALRIGHT, STOP!" Loki yells, crying as he stares at me.

Thor slowly sits up, "We don't have the Tesseract. It was destroyed on Asgard." Loki glances at Thor and I like he knows something we don't. He lifts his right hand into the air and the Tesseract reveals itself. "You really are the worst, brother."

"I assure you both....the Sun will shine on us again." Loki nods at us.

"Your optimism is misplaced, Asgardian."

"Well, for one thing: I'm not Asgardian. And for another... We have a Hulk." Loki suddenly dives out of the way as Hulk emerges and fights Thanos, Loki grabs Thor and I and pulls us down. "I'm so sorry." He tries to wipe the blood off my face.

I pull both of my brothers in and cry as I hug them, kissing their cheeks....this could be the last time I see them again. "I love you both. I'm so proud and lucky to have you both as my brothers....thank...you for always protecting me. For loving me." I whisper in pain.

"Sister, we are not going to die today." Loki smiles at me.

Suddenly a bright light shines beside us, I look over to see Hulk was gone. "That was a mistake." Thanos suddenly stabs Heimdall through the heart.

"NO!!!" I scream.

"You're going to die for that!" Thor yells.

Maw shuts Thor's mouth with a piece of metal. "Shhhh." He then Holds the Tesseract, getting on one knee. "My humble personage... bows before your grandeur. No other being has ever had the might, nay the nobility, to wield not one, but two Infinity Stones. The universe lies within your grasp."

Thanos crushes the Tesseract, revealing the Space Stone. He places it on the gauntlet. "There are two more Stones on Earth. Find them, my children, and bring them to me on Titan."

"Father, we will not fail you."

I look back to see Loki was standing in front of Thanos. "If I might, interject... If you're going to Earth, you might want a guide. I do have a bit of experience in that arena."

"If you consider failure experience..."

"I consider experience, experience. Almighty Thanos. I, Loki, Prince of Asgard... Odinson..." Loki looks at Thor and I. "The rightful King of Jotunheim, God of Mischief, do hereby pledge to you, my undying fidelity."

Loki suddenly thrusts his hand in the air, trying to stab Thanos, but he uses the stones to stop him. "Undying....You should choose your words more carefully." Thanos then Grabs Loki and picks him up by his throat.

I try to stand as Loki struggles, only to be forced back down, metal wraps around Thor and I. "You... will never be... a god." Loki mutters, Thanos snaps his neck.

"No!" I scream.

"No resurrections this time." He used the stones to start destroying our ship as he teleports away.

Thor and I fall out of our metal restraints and crawl to Loki. I pull him up in my arms and cry over him as Thor hugs onto his other side. "No... Loki..."

Everything goes black as the ship explodes.
