Y/n's pov

"Tenko, do you want to go to school", I asked which he immediately shook his head. After the incident at the fair I decided not to take him places with too many people. The issues is now how is he going to get his education.

"Alright, how about this, you'll be homeschooled", I suggested. "I rather not go to school", he replied. "You're going to need to have an education", I stated causing him to cross his arms. "If you start this every Sunday we'll get you ice cream", I offered. "Promise", he asked causing me to nod my head. "Promise, only if you actually try to learn and get good grades", I said which he nodded to.

Teaching a kid the basic needs of education shouldn't be too hard right? Well I was wrong it's hard as hell. It's a lot different from elementary school learning that I learned.

"Alright, Tenko on more time", I sighed as I sat in front of him. "If Johnny has two apples and Susan gives him 7 apples, how many does he have now", I asked. He sat tapping the pencil on the table trying to process what I said.

"A thousand", he answered. "Tenko, where did you get a thousand from", I sighed, he just shrugged his shoulders. We have been at this question since day 3. We started the section Monday to Tuesday. Then Math we started that Wednesday to Friday. My patience is thinning.

It was fine at first, all I taught him was how to write and read, that was the easy part! Math is still fucking hard.

I let out sigh and slumped back in my chair while rubbing my face with my hand. "I'm sorry", he mumbled. "No no baby it's not you, it's me", I sighed. "I'm not good at math", I added. "Then how are you going to teach me", he asked. "I'll call someone to help", I replied while pulling out my phone. I scrolled through my contacts until I saw the name Haven. I pressed their number then put it up to my ear. It ringed for about two seconds then they answered it.

"Hello stranger", Haven said. "Hey, you still working", I asked. "Sadly no, got fired from my last job", they replied. "Oh shit, what happened", I asked. "Some rude parent, they slapped their kid in front me for no reason", they explained. "How is to at your fault", I asked. "Because after that I punched the shit out of them", they replied. "Of course you did", I chuckled. "I have a job for you, I'll pay you", I said. "Hmm what is it", they asked. "Did Micheal tell you about my kid", I asked causing to them to gasp.

"ARE THEY THERE", Haven shouted causing me to move my phone away from my ear. I pressed speaker phone and held it in front of Tenko.

"You're on speaker", I said. "HEY TENKO", Haven shouted causing Tenko to flinch. "Hi", Tenko replied quickly. I turned off the speaker then put the phone back on my ear.

"Can you teach him elementary school stuff", I asked. "I'll pay you", I added. "Don't need to ask twice already on my way there", they replied then hanged up the phone. I let out a sigh then put my phone back in my pocket.

"Who was that", Tenko asked. "A good friend of mine, they'll help you", I replied while standing up and headed to the kitchen to make Tenko lunch.

As Tenko was eating his lunch someone knocked on the door. I walked to the front door and opened it. I was pulled into a bone crushing hug by Haven.

"Stop you're killing me", I fussed as I tried breaking out the hug. "I misssed youuuu-", Haven whined. "You saw me a couple weeks ago", I sighed finally getting out of their hug. Haven rushes passed me while squealing in excitement once they saw Tenko.
