We were having coffee sitting in our lawn , Tayi and Maryyum was getting read to go to her brother's house for her nephew and niece's wedding.

"Ilham my child come here." She was standing next to her car, while driver was putting her suit cases in. Maryyum was getting ready probably.

"You want any help Tayi,"

"No,no my child  it's Taimor's wedding and bhai (brother) has invited our family he has insisted for you and Moosa to come. "

"But Tayi you I don't like to go to such gatherings, and I have to go to the hospital. "

"My child weddings is on weekend,tomorrow after hospital you can go with Moosa to get you new dresses, if I didn't have to go I would have taken you ." Moosa and I since when everyone okay with boys and girls going out together.

"But tayi how can I go with Moosa alone,if you insist Choti Maa can go with me."

"Your Maa has to go with you specially but Moosa will already be there for office it's convenient and there's very little time left for you to prepare, please my child when you come look your best,I want everyone to see my daughter at her best."

She was always like that whoever will come she would tell them so proudly how pretty her daughter in law is.And somehow it would bring smile to my face in distress too.
That's why I couldn't ever say no to her.How do I tell her we aren't on talking terms, after what I  said to him how can I go tell him to take me out for shopping.

"Now don't keep standing here move and ask Moosa else he may leave again .
I'm getting late I'll call him and I'll know if you didn't ask him.And come together on the day of reception too." She insisted sitting in the car.

"Come fast Maryyum I'm waiting for you."
"Maryyum wait I need to ask you something."I whispered too her holding her hand,moving her away from the car.

"You sent Moosa my pictures while he was away,how could you."
I asked her from so many days she was busy running around to prepare for her cousins wedding .I couldn't ask her how could she do that .

"So Bahia told you,you two had a chat again,I'm so happy."

"It was eid Api I was sending everyone's picture it was fair I send yours too."she ran away laughing.

"You little,stop I'll tell you what's fair."

And how do I go to Moosa he'll eat me alive after what I did.Above that I don't even want to ga and ask him .Ya Rab save me from his worth please .

"Maa since when have you become so out going ,you told Api to go with bhai alone before their wedding,you are playing match maker with bhai and Api aren't you."
I asked Maa smiling .I'm so happy bhai was talking to Api .

"I had to or these two won't move an inch.And you are too young to be asking me such questions silly girl, both of them are married and mature enough to go on their own."

"Come on Maa he's my brother I'm happy you told Api to go with bhai,and you know Maa I saw a ring on Bhai's table yesterday when I went to give him his coffee.I'm sure it's for Api,But I think because Api is so closed off with him he couldn't give to her."

I hope Api sees bhai is nice for her,I wish she would give him a chance.
