Chapter 19♣ Niall

I unlocked the door to my flat. I had some serious jet lag. A yawn escaped my mouth as I closed the door behind me.

"You're finally back. Gosh I thought you'd be home hours ago." I froze. I turned my head to see someone on my couch. It was dim so I couldn't see their face. It sounded like a man.

I grabbed the first thing my hand found and flipped on the switch. Who ever was in my flat was about to taste the fury of Niall Hor-...

I cocked my head at the man on the couch.

"How the hell did you get a key to my flat?" I leaned against the front door, which I had been standing next to.

"I'm Simon Cowell, I get what I want. And really Niall? A banana? What are you gonna do, shoot the part you eat at me, then make me trip on the peel?" Simon chuckled. I looked down at my hands and, sure enough, there was a banana clutched in my fist. I put the banana back and sat next to Simon.

"So, why did you go through all the trouble just to get a key to my house?" I cocked an eyebrow at him and leaned back onto the couch.

"Just wanted to play a prank." He shrugged and continued talking, "I do have some serious news, though."

I scrunched up my eyebrows and sat back up. By the look on Simon's face, I could tell it was good news. His eyes were slightly wide and the corners of his lips were tugging towards the ceiling. What did he know that I didn't?

"We had a house built for you and the boys." My eyes went wide. They built us a house! Wait a minute...

"Who is 'we'?" I did air quotations with my fingers, momentarily let the excitement escape the features on my face.

"Your management, me and construction people that I hired. I got you the best people for the job." He looked pretty proud of himself. He is so cocky and has such a huge ego. (note sarcasm)

Simon is actually pretty humble for being the millionare that he is. He is a really interesting guy to hang out with. The boys and I consider him like family.

"Awesome. So, where is this house located?" I asked him. The excitement was back on my face and was evident in my voice.

"All I'm telling you is that it's in the outskirts of London, near a wetland. Somewhere you guys can get away from the city stress, but you can still drive to town to get some milk and talk to fans." Simon had a smug look on his face. A stress-free zone, eh? Sounds nice for a change.

"When do we move in?" I asked. I needed to know when to gather up the boys and tell them so they could pack, get ready for the move, etc.

"As soon as possible." He shrugged like it was no big deal.

"Will there be a room for Ana? She is living with Louis at the moment." Simon knew Ana. They met once, I believe. Simon liked Ana so he wouldn't care if she followed us around all the time. If there wasn't room for Ana, I'm afraid Louis won't go. Those two are like glue. Heh heh, that rhymed.

"Yep. We made two guest bedrooms just in case someone came to visit you guys or if you decided to let a friend live with you. We wanted to be prepared." I sighed in relief. I pretended to wipe sweat off my forehead.

"Alright, you want something to drink?" I offered, getting up and heading towards the kitchen. I wanted a irish beer and I was gonna get one.

"Nah, I've got to go anyways. See ya later, Niall."

"Bye!" I yelled over my shoulder as I grabbed a bottle. The door made a loud sound closing and it made me jump.

I opened the beer and walked back into the living room. I plopped down onto the couch and took a swig of my beer. Delicious. I licked my lips and grabbed the TV remote. Time to watch random soap operas that have crap quality but will make you cry for sure.
