Chapter 7

The following day, Jungwon happily woke up and is feeling excited of today's plans. Since he has no schedule with Jay, he gets to spend the day with someone.

He really wants to forget everything first. The month's not yet over but he's been stressed with Jay and their situation.

"Am I starting to like him? No! Do not do that Jungwon. Are you out of your mind? He has a girlfriend so stop being delusional. He's rich and you're just someone who got a scholarship from their company! Know your limits." Jungwon talked to himself.

"Luckily, I get to be with Heeseung hyung for today. He's really a hyung that I admire for his kindness and intelligence. No doubt he's a student leader at the university." He thought.

— flashback —

Jungwon hugged his Heeseung hyung back. He also missed the older because right after Heeseung went to college, he rarely bonds with Jungwon.

"Do you have anything to do tomorrow?" Heeseung said as he breaks from the hug.

"Not really, hyung. Why?"

"Let's go somewhere and have some fun. Just the two of us. If you are not busy, I guess?"

"Hyung, you're the one who is always busy. I'm free tomorrow so letchugooo~"

Heeseung invited Jungwon to go to the arcade today and have fun. It's their favourite thing to do ever since. Jungwon easily agreed to this since it's also a way to forget his problem with Jay.

Jungwon checked his phone before doing his morning routine. He noticed that there is a notification from yesterday which he did not see.

"Who does he think he is?" Jungwon whispered as he ignored the message after reading it. He got up and prepared for a long day. A long day with Heeseung.

— at the university —

Jungwon was an hour-early before classes start. He immediately looked for his friends, Sunoo and Ni-ki, whom he missed the most. He's also trying to make it up with Ni-ki.

He entered their room and to his surprise, Sunghoon was there.

"Ohh. Hi, Jungwon." Sunghoon greeted.

"Hello, Sunghoon hyung. What brings you here?"

"I just went to see Sunoo."

Ni-ki on the other side shows no reaction as is just staring outside through the window. Pretending like Jungwon's presence is nowhere at all.

Jungwon the turned his attention to Sunoo and gave him a smirk. He typed something on his phone.

Jungwon then approached Ni-ki.

"Hey. Still mad at me?" he said while gently playing the youngest's hair. But he got no answer.

"You sure, you won't forgive me?" Jungwon then forced himself between Ni-ki's hands to hug him.

Ni-ki couldn't resist Jungwon so he just tickled him as they hug each other.

"You are really cute, Jungwon. So I will never call you hyung." Ni-ki teased and played with Jungwon's hair as well.

The two stayed in their position which is hugging each other.

— on the other hand —

"Where is Sunghoon? I'm hungry for real. I skipped breakfast." Jay whined to Jake.

"I heard he went to his so called freshman friend." Jake replied.

"Who? and Where?"

"I think he's your Jungwon's friend. Hmm. Sunoo? I think?"

"Let's go. Let's just pick him up there."

The two walked their way to the freshman's building. Jay is kinda excited since there's a chance he will see Jungwon but nervous because the younger didn't reply to his message.

As they near towards the building, Jake asked something out of nowhere.

"How are things with you and Arin?"

"We're over. She knows that but she keeps on insisting that I am his boyfriend. It's crazy, I know. Besides, things are on the rocks even before I met Jungwon."

"Well, that's a good news. At least you're single."

Few more steps and they are in front of Sunoo's room where Sunghoon is at. However, Jay immediately hid himself beside the door.

"Just call Sunghoon and let's leave." Jay said with a cold voice. A voice that would easily crack if he sees what he saw one more time. He stopped himself from seeing Jungwon and Ni-ki hugging.

"Sunghoon, let's go. Jay is hungry." Jake said and caught the attention of Sunghoon, Sunoo, and even stopped the hugging moment of Jungwon and Ni-ki.

"I'll see you later." Sunghoon winked at Sunoo before leaving.

Jungwon then wondered why Jake is the only one who came to call Sunghoon but realizes Jay won't walk this far just to call a friend.

"They have phones so why can't they just call or text each other?" Jungwon uttered.

"You're just bitter you did not see Jay!" Sunoo then sticked out his tongue.

"Says by someone who flirted all morning." Ni-ki defended Jungwon by teasing Sunoo as well.

The three of them laughed with each other and tried to catch up because it's been a while considering Jungwon's schedule.

"Jungwon... hyung." Jungwon and Sunoo stopped from laughing and were shocked by what they heard.

"Did you just call me hyung?" Jungwon's eyes widened.

"Miracle." Sunoo whispered.

"Can I talk to you? Alone?"

Jungwon then nodded and Sunoo gave them a smile—a sign that he's okay with it.

Jungwon and Ni-ki went outside and walked at the field where the fresh air blows and trees dance freely.

"Is there anything you'd like to tell me?" Jungwon asked Ni-ki who's been quiet since they left the room.

"You should know something."

"What is it? You can always tell me anything."

"I'm sure you're wondering why I hate calling you hyung and why I keep on acting weird sometimes. I want your attention, Jungwon. When you're with that Jay Park, I feel... weird... maybe jealous."

"Oh come on. He gets my attention because I have to teach him. You're my friend, Ni-ki." Jungwon said which made Ni-ki stare at him.

"That's it. I hate that I'm just your friend."

"What do you mean?" Jungwon started getting confused.

"I like you."
