I wake up a little embarrassed after last nights episode, and I still can't seem to shake the anxious feeling from the dream. I fight to get out of Four's embrace so that I can shower, man this boy is strong. Today the pack is having a meeting, the last meeting with my dad as alpha to be exact. I am a little nervous to take over, but I am sure everything will be fine. I don't exactly know how being both moon goddess and alpha are going to work seeing as I am the first, but I know I'll figure it out. As moon goddess I choose all the wolf pups mates. It is a huge responsibility and involves a lot of new powers, but my instincts should guide me as to who to pair with who. Today's meeting my father and I will try to pick and delegate jobs out to trusted members of the pack to help me run it successfully and we will discuss new tactics and methods that I will use in my tenure. We will finish off the night with a ceremonial hunt and howl with the old pack council members. I am awaken from my thoughts by Four's rough raspy morning voice as he greets me and asks what's on the agenda for today.

" Good morning, we have the pack meeting today at 2", I reply

" ugh do we have to," he whines.

" yes we do," I reply laughing

After Four and I finish breakfast and getting ready we head out to the forest where the meeting will take place and help my father set up.

" Are you ready to take over Tris?," my dad asks

" As ready as I'll ever be," I laugh. " I am a little nervous, I only hope that I can lead our pack into being the strongest, most tight knit, bravest pack to ever live."

" Don't worry you will, I know it. Get ready to open with the manifesto"

" can we do it together?"

" of course babygirl"

" We believe that cowardice is to blame for the world's injustices. We believe that peace is hard-won. That sometimes it is necessary to fight for peace. But more than that, we believe that justice is more important than peace. We believe in freedom from fear, in denying fear the power to influence our decisions. We believe in ordinary acts of bravery and the courage that drives one person to stand up for another. We believe in acknowledging fear and the extent to which it rules us. We believe in facing that fear no matter the cost of our comfort, happiness, or even our sanity. We believe in shouting for those who can only whisper, in defending those who cannot defend themselves. We believe not just in bold words but in bold deeds to match them. We believe that pain and death are better than cowardice and inaction because we believe in action. We do not believe in living comfortable lives. We do not believe that silence is useful. We do not believe in good manners. We do not believe in limiting the fullness of life. We do not believe in empty heads, empty mouths, or empty hands. We do not believe that learning to master violence encourages unnecessary violence. We do not believe that we should be allowed to stand idly by. We do not believe that any other virtue is more important than bravery." ;) (not my material )

So far in the meeting we decided that Four, Uri, Zeke, this guy named Will, a girl named Lynn, and an elder named Tori would help me on my counsel. We are about to talk new methods when we are interrupted by Eric, Peter, and Al making trouble.  They start ranting about how it is unfair I chose my friends as counsel and how it is unnatural for me, a girl to lead. Then, it happens, they challenge me. We all transform to our wolves and because 3v1 is unfair Four and Zeke join me. It's a tough fight, there is blood everywhere I am pretty sure it's mainly theirs. Al is beat pretty bad, Eric is too. Dang Four don't play. As for Peter he's mine. He claws me in the ribs and I hiss in pain, but I refuse to lose especially not in front of my pack. I lunge and we begin rolling down a hill, Peter snaps his leg against  tree and howls in pain. We have them beat, but instead of finishing them off I howl signifying the end. As for them, they are no longer allowed to be part of the pack. We all shift back.

" This isn't the end princess," Eric sneers.

" yeahhhhhhh," Peter chants following closely behind Eric like the little lapdog he's always been. I turn to head the other way when I feel someone tug on my wrist.

" wait- no- Tris I'm sorry I never meant to-" Al begins to beg literally on both knees with his head hung to the ground.

" save it Al, you challenged me, you lost, you leave, that's the rules," I say.

" please," he pleads with tears in his eyes looking up at me.

All I could do was take my wrist away turn and leave. Almost instantaneously the pack begins walking away. Eric and Peter are the literal most annoying jerks in the world, but Al, Al is-- I mean I thought he was was my friend. Due to the circumstances it is decided that the tactics meeting and hunt will be pushed to another day.
