Apathetic Aggressive (Levi X Reader)

"Lets saddle up! We're going home." Gunther yells as you approach the squad. 

"F/N? What the hell happened? What was that noise?" Eren asks as you land next to him.

You only let out a frustrated yell as you stomp your foot on the ground. "It all went to fucking hell in a handbasket." You growl. "I didn't see much because the Captain ordered me back here but... That bitch of a titan yelled or something... It screamed. The last thing I saw were dozens of titans charging towards her. I tried to take some out but they all ignored me.." 

"You disobeyed a direct order back there. You broke off from the squad and could've gotten yourself killed." Oluo states as he stands up from his resting position. "Consider yourself lucky." 

"Do you... Do you really think they found out who the female titan is?" Eren asks as he fills his ODM gear with gas, noticing the blue smoke in the sky. 

"Of course!" Petra happily yells beside Eren.

"I wouldn't be so sure." You state as you sheath your swords.

"F/N please. Have some faith in people. The commander knows what he's doing and with the Captains by his side, there's no way they can fail." Petra says.

"Your optimism will be your downfall." You state bluntly as you, Gunther and Eld jump off the current branch and fly through the forest, Petra, Eren and Oluo following closely behind.

"Maybe if you weren't so pessimistic, you'd trust us more and actually smile sometime." Gunther mutters. "Huh? A green smoke signal? Must be from the commander." He then states as he lands up on a branch and fires back a green signal.

You follow the squad quietly, not saying a word. You felt an odd sensation in your gut. Nervousness? Uneasiness? Whatever it was you knew why you were feeling it. "That's not the exact direction I came from, where the commander was... And by now... Surely they are on the move. But he wouldn't be over there of all places... What's happening? Why am I not saying anything to the others? Dammit. Whatever... Maybe Gunther's right... I am too pessimistic..." You conclude as you fly throughout the trees with the rest of Levi's squad.

"Captain Levi?" You hear Gunther ask mostly himself as you look in the direction he was. There was another scout but... It didn't seem like Levi to you. "Oh shit!" Is all you hear before seeing the strange scout swiftly turn around and slice through and kill Gunther. 

"Gunther!" Eren yells as he swings down to his squad member. A look of horror dawned on his face as he saw the lifeless body of his comrade hanging from a tree.

"Eren lets go!" You yell as you fly past him. "He's dead! There's nothing we can do for him now!" You state as you look behind and see the unknown scout following closely behind. "Dammit Levi. Where are you?"

"Keep them away from Eren!" Eld yells as you all advance through the forest. "There isn't time to get the horses! Make for HQ at full speed!"

"Is that.." Oluo begins before you interrupt him. "Who else can it be?!" You yell. "That's the bitch who killed of the rear guard!" You yell as you turn around to face the scout. You glare at them before they slow and steer off behind some trees. "Fuck! Where are they?!" You think to yourself as the surrounding area falls silent.

You turn back when a bright orange light followed by a loud bang comes from behind you.

"Move it!" Eld yells as the female titan fully reappears and begins chasing you down.

"I'll kill you!" Eren yells as he lifts his hand to his mouth.

"Eren! Don't!" Eld yells. "You get back to base! The rest of us will take care of it!"
