Even though I could go on and on about ratchet ass fast food employees, that's for a later date.
This isn't too much of a rant, but I would really like to shout out the people who work in fast food, and still take pride in their job. The ones that don't complain, or feel embarrased about their line of work.
The employees that show up to work with a real smile, and are thankful for the fact that they have a job.
And do their best to not only serve people food, but to bring it upon themselves to put others in a happy mood, even though they don't have to.
Quick story:
My mom and I were getting subway, and the guy who was making my sandwich was probably one of the most funny, down to earth guys I've ever met.
He kept joking and teasing us about what we were getting on our sandwiches. And at one point I'd had enough and was like "just slab on my american cheese and let me live my life ok."
He laughed and backed away with surrendering hands and shouted "damn, shots were fired"
I s2g I've never laughed so hard in the middle of a subway and didn't care that people were staring and judging silently.
I want to be friends with that guy dammit.
There needs to be more people like him, so if any of you guys take up a job at a fast food joint, try to make the most out of your time there. Smile and laugh even when people are being crusty af.
Byyeeeeee don't judge people (aka me) for getting american cheese on my sandwich at subway.
