"You must be princess Courtney." A man with tan skin and silvery white hair asked. Courtney had to dismiss herself from Fives because she had "royal duties to attend to" but really she didn't want to tell the man she had started falling for that she was off to meet the man she would soon marry. "That I am." She replied. They began to waltz along with Calypso and the other sisters with their arranged futures with a sort of dance of mortifications. "I am Prince Finnian of Agamar." "It is a pleasure to meet you." "I'm sure." Finnian replied as he led her in a waltz. "The music is well played do you not think, Mister Finnian." Courtney spoke, unaccustomed to the silence between them in the dance. The man remained silent but offered a small nod. "It is your turn to say something now, mister Finnian. I talk about the music after you assured me of what an unmistakable pleasure it is to know you. Now the turn falls to you." He hesitated before replying, "do you normally talk during dances?" Courtney hesitated before replying. "Dances are not my forte of socializing. I prefer smaller gatherings not grande parties." "Don't be so daft Miss Courtney." "What do you mean by that?" She asked, there was a sharpness to her tone. "You are starting to strike me as a woman who thinks too much." He said with a faint chuckle. "What do you think of books, mister Finnian?" "I cannot think of Books in a ballroom, or at all. Such things provide little joy and promote the suffering of a healthy mind. Why spend your time reading when you can spend It dazzling the members of your desired sex for a partner." "That reply will do for now." Courtney said, her voice had become now tense, she was starting to feel not as much drawn to this princess and would rather spend her time with the clone trooper she left. "Why do you ask such questions during a dance?" Finnian asked. "Merely the illustration of your character, Mister Finnian. I am trying to make it out." "And what have you found out?" "You are a man who has a terrible disregard for education and would rather spend your time committing intolerable acts with women." "Well, you seem to be fantastic at understanding my character." He replied with a smug grin. Courtney scoffed. "Don't worry, Miss Courtney, you're all I could ask for in a wife." "Which is?" "You're beautiful." He replied flatly. Courtney narrowed her eyes at him. "Yes, but what else?" "What else is there?" That was the last straw. Courtney scoffed. "Let us merely finish this dance before I suffocate from your arrogance."

"You must be the Duke of Corellia." Cosette said as she offered her hand to a thin man with brown hair and golden eyes. He seemed awfully skittish but he nodded at her. "My name is Duke Ives." He replied. "Alright. I'm Cosette. Let's get on with it then." She added as she extended her hand to his which he carefully took. He seemed worried as if she was going to double cross him or something similar. "You seem worried." Cosette noted openly as she began to dance with him. He was terrible at taking the lead in their waltz, leaving that mostly to Cosette which she found to be rather distasteful. "I-I'm quite alright I assure you, Miss Cosette." She raised a brow but continued to waltz with him. "What do you do for fun?" Cosette asked, trying to make sense of him. "Usually I study the insect like creatures my father brings back from foreign planets." "So... you study bugs for fun?" The Duke nodded and Cosette sighed. "What do you think of going swimming in the sea or climbing up mountains?" Ives looked as if he might faint. "Oh no! I could never! With such high probability of getting injured I could never take such a risk as to go outside." Cosette froze. "You don't go outside?" "No of course not." Out of all the men here why did Cosette have to get stuck with the incredibly dull one. She sighed once more. This was going to be a painfully long dance.

"Caroline Canto I presume." The blonde princess smiled. "That would be me." She replied with a polite curtsie. "It is a pleasure to meet you." Her future husband replied with a respectful bow. "I am prince Sterling of Dantooine." He introduced himself. Sterling had long wavy blonde hair, similar to her own, and a pair of soft blue eyes with several freckles dusted onto his cheeks. His skin was very tan and he was just all around very handsome. "I suppose you are to be my wife." Sterling said and Caroline smiled as she nodded. "Yes that is correct." "Then I truly am a lucky man. Your beauty is far beyond from what I have heard of you." Caroline could feel herself blush from his compliment. "Why thank you, mister Sterling." "I can only hope you are as lovely on the inside as you are on the outside, but from what I have heard, there is no need for me to hope for many have told me of your exceeding kindness and care for others." "You flatter me." Caroline replied as she gently took his hand and their waltz began. "There is no flattery, miss Caroline, I assure you. I speak nothing but the truth." The way sterling lead their dance was enough to make any girl swoon, in fact Caroline noticed several of the other women who had attended the ball were eyeing him with a certain degree of desire she didn't even posses for him. He held her close with a hand on her waist and the other firmly holding her dainty hand. "What do you think of chess, miss Caroline?" He asked as to make conversation while they danced. "Chess? I find it rather entertaining. I would hope not to brag but my sisters do say I am the best at it in our family." She replied and Sterling smiled down at her. "Then perhaps you would do me the honor of playing a few rounds with me later." "I would love to." She replied "would you say it's a date then?" Sterling asked and she felt her cheeks become pink. "Why yes." She replied with a small smile. "It's a date."
