The news of Fives' passing was heavy on Courtney. She returned to Atla not long after, leaving Calypso to be the last remaining sister on Coruscant. It seemed each princess had lost their beloved, all except Calypso who remained with Kix on Coruscant. But Kix grew restless. The news of Fives' illness drew him in to a spur of investigation from the minute he heard about it. He started by just checking all his medical records. Looking for a pattern of some sort, anything that could help him identify what had caused this virus and how it had spread not only to Fives but to Tup as well. The whole thing was highly suspect and the more Kix researched the more suspicious he grew of the entire situation. When he reached the extent of his medical records on Courscant that's when he knew that the answers he wanted where not within the GAR facility at the capital, they were far beyond. After speaking with Rex, who agreed on the need of a private medical investigation surrounding their brother's death, the men agreed for kix to travel to the only place they believed answers could be found. Kamino.

"And that's why I've got to go." Kix explained to Calypso. "I've got to find out what happened to Fives, it's what your sister would have wanted." He added. "You're going alone?" Calypso signed. "No other soldiers or clones are coming with you?" she added and Kix nodded. "That's correct." "Then I'm coming with you." "What?" Kix asked, his face became a startled expression as he looked at the mute princess. "Calypso you can't be serious. This mission could be dangerous and it is no place for a princess like yourself." He reasoned and Calypso lifted her hands to start signing in protest but Kix continued speaking. "And this is GAR related business. You don't have clearance to simply just tag a long." "I'm not letting you go into this alone." Calypso argued. "I'm just not." She added. "You can say what you want to me, hit me with all of your facts and regulations, which i am not doubting but I will ignore because I simply do not care anymore. I love you Kix. and I am coming with you whether you like it or not. All of my sisters have been separated from their loved ones, I am not ready to join them." as it turned out, Calypso was a lot more like Caroline, Courtney, and Cosette than he had ever known. The determination she was showing now was not the same as the meekness that was shown from the mute girl he had first met all those days ago on Atla. Kix smiled. "You really are determined, aren't you, princess?" He asked and Calypso nodded. "You are not leaving me here alone," she signed. "Not again,"

"K-A-M-I-N-O?" Calypso signed to the clone who sat next to her in the ship he had managed to convince Rex to lend him for the journey. Rex had urged him not to be gone long, the war seemed to finally be coming close to a close and any research Kix could find would greatly aid in the Republic's winning of the war. Rex promised to stay in touch but it was only natural that his communications would be sparse with Ahsoka being gone, Anakin being assigned to keep a close eye on the chancellor, the captain was stretched pretty thin. "Kamino." Kix replied to the princess with a nod, affirming that she had spelled it correctly with her signing. "It's where all the clones are from and the only place I can think of where we might find some viable answers." he added as he punched in some coordinates. The ship launched into lightspeed and there was a silence before Calypso began to ask Kix a question. "There is something on your mind." She signed. "May I be enlightened to what is bothering you?" She asked. "Well several things are on my mind, Calypso." Kix said, keeping his concentration on the swirling lights of lightspeed ahead of them. "Like what? Is it the war? I heard you speaking to Rex about it." "Well yes, that's certainly one thing. The war is almost over, so Rex believes at least. Any information we can find can only help the republic at this point." "So one could say we are helping the Republic win the war?" Calypso asked and Kix nodded. "I suppose so, yes." He said firmly with an ever so slight grin. "We are helping the Republic win the war."
