The mute princess frantically pushed her way through people to find her clone soldier boy. The inability to shout became suffocatingly heavy in that moment. She couldn't find him and she couldn't see him. But in the moment if her greatest panic, things were only beginning to get worse. In a moment, as swift as the morning breeze, darkness filled the great room and several people shouted in fear and confusion of the sudden lack of light. Calypso's eyes only widened in fear. She had no idea what was going on and the panic of the evening did not escape her. Suddenly a hand wrapped tightly around her wrist and she flinched in fear, tears brimming in her eyes from the pure stress of the situation. She looked up to find the owner of the hand and relief washed over her when she saw the face of Kix. The young woman practically leapt into his arms and he held her close. "Do you know what's happened?" He asked and Calypso shook her head. "Good people of Atla." A loud voice now filled the room causing Calypso and Kix to turn to see the source of the sound. A large hologram was projected in the middle of the room, looming over every person at the gathering. The ghostly image of General Grevious caused many to shout in fear. "Your king has denied my offer of an alliance one to many times." The hologram mused. "So now you will all suffer." He said with a chuckle suffocated by several heavy coughs. "I have sent a droid army to this location with instructions to massacre you all." Fear was evident in the room now. "Good luck."
"We have to get you out of here." Kix said as he kept an arm wrapped around Calypso, leading her outside amongst the panic. Calypso placed her hand in one of her dress pockets as she ran with him. Her fingers collided with something cold and delicately decorated that had been secured to her waist. She sighed softly to herself in relief that the object was still there. They scurried into a bare corridors outside the grand room and a stray blast from a blaster caught her off guard as it nearly missed her arm and hit the wall in front of her. Both princess and clone turned to see a droid with his blaster aimed at them. "Calypso get behind me." Kix ordered as he placed his helmet back on and pulled his blaster from his holster, ready to protect his princess. However, the princess shook her head as she wrapped her fingers around her precious object in her skirt and pulled out the most intricate and beautiful dagger Kix had ever seen. It was much of a dagger, more like a small sword but it was as elegant as it was deadly. "You were hiding that all night?" Kix asked and Calypso managed a grin up at him. The hilt of the sword was beautiful and lustrous gold. Carved into the handle were flowers, not just any flowers, but fronds of lavender. The silver blade glistened in the light and almost completely distracted Kix until another stray blast brought his attention back to the droid before him. He shot back at the droid, nailing it right in the shoulder, and distracting it enough for Calypso to give it the final blow, a clean plunge into the droid's core. "Where did you learn to do that?" Kix asked in complete shock of the girl who only grinned. "F-E-N-C-I-N-G" She spelled out with her free hand. Kix smiled softly at her. Her elegant curls had become loose and messy now and her even had a few tears in the fabric but she was still beautiful. "Come with me, Calypso, we need to get somewhere safe."
Thankfully the garden was free of droids. Which was surprising considering everywhere in the palace was crawling with them. "I suggest we wait till morning to return to the the palace. Perhaps then the droids will be gone." Kix suggested. "Morning?" Calypso signed, a worried expression took hold of her as she looked up at the clone. "But that's hours away!" She added. Kix removed his helmet once more as he looked down at the woman. A hand reached out and brushed a few stray strands of golden locks that had fallen loose from their restraints in the heat of the madness out of the princess' face. "Then I suppose you get some rest." Kix suggested. Calypso crossed her arms over her chest. She looked over at kix, her knight in blue and white armor. "Then you will rest with me, my prince." Kix couldn't help but chuckle at the petite princess. "Calypso, cayre, I am no prince." "To me you are." "Calypso I'm only a clone medic." "Kix, you are more of a prince then any man any man who arranged to marry me or any of my sisters." Calypso signed to the clone. "Now come lie with me."
