"Don't touch her!" Kix shouted as he pushed Calypso father behind him. "Don't you dare touch her!" He added. "I'm the one you want! I'm the one you're looking for! Take me! Not her! Please!" He continued to shout desperately. "Unfortunately," Vader began. "Both of you are trespassing on territory belonging to the Galatic Empire." He said simply. "So you both must be held accountable for your crimes." Kix had warned her hadn't he? He had told her not to come with him. He had told her that it wouldn't be wise. But did Calypso listen? No. and now they were both going to pay for her actions and his desire to have her with him. They were going to reap the horrible fruit of the poorly made decisions. Kix was not ready. "No!" He shouted again but it was pointless. Calypso was wrenched from him. The princess clawed and fought the storm troopers desperately trying to cling to Kix but it was pointless. Kix too was grabbed and pulled away from his precious princess. "Wait," Vader said and the storm troopers stopped in their treks. "Let me see her." He said. "Bring me the princess." "And the clone, sir?" "Let him watch."

Calypso flailed around like a fish out of water as she was held before the sith lord clothed in darkness. "I remember meeting you little princess." He said. "I'm sure you don't remember meeting me, not with this face." He gestured to himself. "I want to give you something." He said. "A parting gift, what do you think?" Calypso glared at him, her eyes dripped with pure hatred. She spat on him, her saliva dripped down off of Vader's glossy black mask. Kix worried for her in her insolence. He worried that Vader would kill her on the spot for simply disrespecting him. To Kix's surprise the Sith chuckled. But it was a dark chuckle, a wicked laugh, and it terrified Kix more than anything. "You have found yourself quite the royal fireball." He said, turning to face Kix for a moment. "She's feisty." He added before turning back to the princess. "But she lacks something so dear." Vader said. "Yes I remember," He continued, lifting Calypso's chin with his gloved fingers to look up at him. "A voice."

"Don't you touch her!" Kix shouted. "Get your hand off of her!" He continued. "Harm me! Harm me instead!" Vader turned to look at Kix again. "Harm? Who said I was going to harm anyone? No no, clone, you must have misheard me." Vader continued before turning back to Calypso. "I want to give her a gift." And with that he outstretched his hand over her forehead, using the force on her. Calypso looked up at the gloved hand and a buzz filled her ears. Terror filled her eyes as she watched and felt a wave of warm energy wash over her. Vader retracted his hand. She didn't look in pain and she didn't feel any different. She looked like the Calypso Kix had always known, and more importantly the Calypso he had always loved. She didn't look hurt, she looked more than hurt. She was beautiful as ever, this Kix knew. "There." Vader said. "Now kill her." He commanded his troops who pulled their blasters out, a fireing squad was instantly fashioned for one little princess.

Fear filled Calypso's eyes. "On my command." Vader added as the ends of at least a dozen blasters were pointed at her. Calypso's terrified eyes looked around at all the blasters pointed at her. "Calypso!" Kix shouted. "Don't do it!" He added. "Please! She's harmless! She's- please! Kill me! Don't kill her! Please!" Calypso had been the only thing to bring him joy in such a long time and she was about to be executed like an enemy of the public. Calypso looked at Kix. "Kix!" she shouted, her voice was prim and proper. Kix's eyes widened. Had the mute princess finally spoken to him? "Kix please!" She cried again, tears brimming in her eyes. "Help me!" She added. "Fire." "No!" and with the sound of many blasters firing at once Calypso fell limply to the ground. Kix understood. Vader had meant to torchure him. He gave Calypso the once thing she didn't have, the one thing she had always wished to have. As a parting gift, so maniacal and wicked, Darth Vader had given Calypso her voice.
