We have a few Police Officers in Detective Davien's unit, Inspector Barredo, Raishin and Kenzo, Detective Davien, and I. The one who they refer as the person in charge of the Suicide Case wasn't here. He left already, and I didn't even get the chance to talk to him. We didn't tell anyone who, but they concluded it was him. This plan of Detective Davien made everyone a fool. This is complicated. For sure, lahat sila nalilito at curious sa kaganapan.

It looks like a spider's web with strings connecting to each other.

"The first victim died January 27 this year. She was found in a drainage few kilometers from her house. Bruised body, fractured bones, a wounded eye, and a visible mark is found on her wrist that she was chained. She died in hunger at sa mga pasang nakuha niya." Detective Davien pointed the picture of the first victim, "Hindi pa alam ng pulis kung paano masosolba ang kaso dahil mukhang hindi ito basta-basta lang na pagpatay."

"The next one happened a month after that. Same bruises, same visible marks, same cause of death and the case became a series." He then pointed to another victim's picture. "Another one happened a month after that, then another month, every month up till now," He added.

"He kills every month," I whispered.

"This is a pattern that we first realized. The second one is the way he kills his victim. Another pattern is when he throws them away. Pero, bakit ganon? Bakit buwan-buwan? Bakit niya sinasaktan? I didn't know I am attending a lecture here.

Walang sumagot agad rito.

There is no suspect that we can pinpoint and no evidence that we can hold him accountable. This turns out to be a lecture I didn't want to listen.

"Then, there is Madeline Gajes. Jumping off from a 12th story building after she escaped from the killer's grasp. This is the part while he bailed," Detective Davien points to Madeline Gajes's picture. "And the part that leads me to conclude he is a student. Why? Dahil unang beses siyang naghunt sa lugar malapit sa eskwelahan. He avoided places that had connections to the school."

She finished what she was tasked to do. "The first victim lives outside the city, but she works in a shop 20 kilometers away from school. The second one works 17 kilometers, the third and fourth one are students 23 kilometers away from OCIS, and the last is 19 kilometers away," Elizabeth suddenly butted in when she arrived.

"See? If you looked at it on the map." Detective Davien paused and looked at Kenzo whom he asked to project something on the white board. "If you will look at it. That circle is where the victims work, study and live."

"Yes! And for the first time in his hunting, he kidnapped an OCIS student. Which is highly unusual!" We can sense excitement towards Detective Davien's voice.

"It means he didn't mean to do that," Raishin butted in.

"Correct. The killer did not mean to kidnap Madeline. The thread of his hunt is broken there.
