That is human's killer instinct. We all have our own different sets of killer instinct inside us. We also know which part should be dominant. Everyone is capable of murder, sadyang mayroon lang talaga tayong conscience na bumubuo sa pagkatao natin.

"Tell us about the Palma Building. Why were you really there?" this time, Detective Davien asked, "paano mo nakausap ang dalaga at bakit ka naroon sa rooftop?" dagdag na tanong ng Detective sa salarin.

"She escaped, and what do you think I should do? Stay quiet? That bitch ran fast, and I can't even get close to her. Lucky for me a student was holding a package full of signboards and was delivering them to the Dome, I ought to help," panimula ng binata. Walang emosyon na sambit nito. He seems not regretting what he did. "I asked Maddy to stop what she is doing and come back to me. She resisted and jumped off."

I can't find context through his words. Why does it feel like he wasted the years of friendship they have and didn't regret that it happened? Hindi ko siya maintindihan, and if only I can hear his thoughts I will know what he is thinking.

The rest of the confession fills the remaining time in the afternoon. Sa tagal nito, kaniya-kaniyang labas pasok na ang mga pulis sa loob. Kahit nga ang mga kasama ko ay nangangawit na. Maliban nalang sa tatlong pinapanood namin, halos walang umaalis sa kanila.

It was 4 pm when the four of us decided to leave the interrogation room. The confession is still running but the whereabouts of the weapon and the victim's belongings are being retrieved. Iniikot-ikot ko lang ang iuupuan kong swivel chair dahil wala akong trip. Naputol lang rin ang ginagawa ko ng biglang sumigaw si Teressa. Napukos tuloy ang atensyon naming tatlo sa kaniya.

"Ano ba nangyari at sumisigaw ka?" biglaang tanong ni Kenzo rito. Napataas ang kilay ko dahil hindi naman pala tulog ang binata. Sa katunayan ay pangalawang beses na niya akong naloko diyan sa ginagawa niya.

"Death sent a footage. He said he retrieved it from the surveillance camera in the alley. One of Sport Equipment Shop installed CCTV cameras." Naintriga naman kami at bahagya niyang pinakita sa amin ang isang footage.

There was nothing in there for the next 2 minutes, but later Madeline Gajes runs in. She was about to run off when Jorge Fedel grabbed her hair and was caught by the man's grasp. Nagpupumiglas ang dalaga sa pagkakahawak ng binata at hindi na nakapalag ito nang buhatin siya ng binata at nawala sila sa anggulo ng camera.

"A deleted footage from one of the CCTV cameras in Jorge Fedel's shop?" tanong ni Elizabeth at agad naman tumango si Teressa.

"That can be used as an evidence. Look at the time, that is after Madeline Gajes got abducted," biglang sambit ni Elizabeth muli at tinuro ang oras sa gilid ng footage. She was right, the time was pass 10:50 in that evening.

"And what about the footage he sent to the police?" I asked her. Agad naman itong may kinalikot at kalaunan ay may pinakita ulit siya na footage.

It was the same footage the police had. Madeline Gajes walked there as if someone was behind her, then she turned right, and we thought the footage ended there, but Madeline went back, and she is not alone. Jorge Fedel was with her and they went back kung saan dumaan si Madeline.
