(Pale City - Camp Lookout, Your POV)
A Never Ending Nightmare. That's what Six calls the loops she's trapped in. I'm not sure if her new involvement in my life has just dragged me into the loop with her. Dio I hope not. Last thing I'd want is to live out my life in this shi- crappy city over and over again.
"If you're serious about this world being on a loop, then most of what we do won't matter. Though, this does make me curious about some things. If I were to gather supplies and leave it in an accessible place for my future or past self, would those items still be there?"
Six nodded, "I don't keep my memories for long after a new loop begins, and I don't think Mono keeps any of his memories at all. So I use these tallies to keep track of each new loop, it's just an old habit I picked up back then, I'm not sure why I even bother keeping track anymore."
'Nothing comes to my mind as to why. Though I guess I outta start keeping track of them myself now huh?' I sighed, this world really does have a habit of throwing me a curveball, except the ball is made of pure beskar...and it's spiked.
...I hate baseball
"Well, considering you're here again. You must've died in some way, do you remember that far or does it cut your memory off at some point?" I asked Six.
"It stops just as I get to the Maw, then the next thing I know, there's a porcelain mask in my hands that I'm putting onto my face." She replied, marking two more tallies before getting up.
"A porcelain mask? Maybe you end up living long enough to become an adult, hopefully not one under the overlord or whatever's pulling the strings on this planet. Though, considering you're here now and what I can assume is forever, I'm guessing you did." I thought about this for a moment.
"From what you told me, that does mean you grow up. So you aren't due to die anytime soon unless you somehow defy fate and die before then. Though I could only assume neither of us would want that. It's nice to have someone watch your back in this world and if you'd stay, I'd be glad to have you."
'That sounded like I was trying to flirt. Which I wasn't. Romance is at the bottom of my list of priorities.' I thought up a plan.
"So, how did you get to the Maw? A boat? Some kind of teleportation?" I asked.
"The Ferryman." She replied. I was surprised, so he- or it is real and I haven't been chasing a myth. Finally, some good news that doesn't involve some kind of monster with a dominion dying in a fire or something, Grazie Dio. "I gotta ask though, do you remember how you found him?"
Six took a second to remember, "You don't find the Ferryman, the Ferryman finds you. It's how I get to the Maw in every loop."
"That is both helpful, and incredibly not helpful. So what? We sit here on our as- butts and wait until he finds us? I'm not keen on the whole thing of, wait around until he randomly shows up. But then again, what have I been doing for the past year? Sitting around, waiting for him to show up and then what? The Maw? Possibly a place of actual safety where I'm not almost beheaded on a weekly basis. Where there's no Thin Man, no Tvs, no Monsters. And certainly no Dio forsaken Eyes. Just a place of rest."
"But I'm asking for too much, aren't I? This world is a cazzo di abisso infernale. Although I've survived this long, I gotta say I'm not sure non posso sopravvivere a questo abisso infernale senza di te. So I'm glad you're here. It's strange, did you perhaps-? Nevermind, forget it, I'm rambling to myself again."
"If you're asking if I asked for a companion on the Maw, the answer is yes. This is one of the only times this world hasn't screwed me over." Six smirked, pulling out a lighter.
"You've got a lighter? That's useful. Just try not to get it wet. It happened to me once, and it didn't work very well afterwards. Now, moving on from that. I'm about to go out to find a battery pack, there's this thing I've been building while I've been waiting." I gestured over to the sheet covered object. "It's not finished yet but when it is, We'll at least have something to stare at while we wait. Plus, I can make some variations of it in the meantime." I crawled through the mountain of clothes I used to catch the rain. "I'll be back as soon as I find it. Stay safe."
(Pale City - Television Shop, Your POV)
I stared at a television store, the windows were broken, there was a fence knocked over. For Dio's sake there was a viewer's head through one of the windows. Someone must've been in one hell of a chase.
I climbed into the store from the viewer stuck in the window, I think they're dead? Either way I was careful not to cut myself on any broken glass as I climbed on the viewer, quickly jumping off of them and into the store. Well, there's plenty of glass. Thankfully I have shoes, can't imagine going barefeet in this city. It must be awful.
'Some of these tvs are still on, I'll need to break them before I go any further in.' My power fist popped onto my arm, "Let's get this done quickly." I said as I smashed my fist into the glass of a television. Then into another, then another. 'Was there always a pair of hands inside a tv?' Wait a second...
"OH CRAP! THAT'S THE THIN MAN!" I yelled internally, quickly smashing the television screen, the distortion here is getting so much worse. He must've upped the transmission in here. God I feel sick, my stomach is twisting and my head is spinning-
The same pair of hands started pressing against another television, "No you don't!" I punched the television screen, only cracking the screen as one of the hands came through it.
"Maybe you do!" I jumped back, quickly swiping a few batteries and tossing them into a bag. "Got what I came for! Thanks Thinny!" His other hand came through the tv before his entire body did as well. I tightened my grip on the bag and ran away from him. Sure, he was tall, he could teleport and he could pull me closer to him with his powers, but for some reason, he didn't. He just slowly followed me as I ran away, is- is he good? Why does he seem so, I dunno low energy? When he chased me every other time he was teleporting, pulling and just being a downright danger to me. Now I just feel kinda bad for him, but I'm no fool. I'm not slowing down or getting anywhere near him and giving him the chance to capture me. "Farewell Thinny!" I jumped into a sewer grate, this place hasn't had any water come through in the longest time since the tower started running this place so this is completely safe to travel through. And the best part is, there's no goddamn leeches!
I counted the batteries, 12 of them, lucky me. This is plenty more than what I need and it's always nice to have extra as a backup.

I looked at the entrance of soaked clothing, I mean, it keeps the inside dry doesn't it? I ducked my head under and entered my hideout. Six was sleeping on one of the makeshift beds, not to pat myself on the back here but I did great on these things. They are so heckin' comfortable.
'I guess I could finish this tomorrow, wouldn't want to wake Six up.' I put the bag next to the machine, hopefully I've wired everything correctly, if not. Well... I've got until The Ferryman gets here.
