(The Maw - The Lady's Quarters, Your POV)

I climbed out of the grate covered ladder from the guest area, noticing hums coming from the room ahead. I peeked my head around the corner, noticing the same lady from before in the kimono. Her humming was amazing, seriously. But y'know, SHE'S ACTUALLY GLIDING INSTEAD OF WALKING! WITCHCRAFT! I watched and waited for the elevator doors to close.

As they were closing I looked at her mask, admiring the craftsmanship of it. It's really nice, very high quality. Definitely wouldn't be cheap if we still had to pay for things.

"You shouldn't be here, Little one. Terrible fates happen to those that seek the exit. Even worse fates for...returning guests..." My ears vibrated in a static like voice, the masked lady's eyes catching mine.

I backed up as the elevator's doors finally closed after what felt like forever. She knows. She knows I'm here. Likely the most important and dangerous person on the Maw knows I am in her ship.

My adrenaline kicked into overtime as I panicked, "She knows I'm here." But does she know Six and RK are here too? She knows of me, one, but does she know of two and three?

I smiled. Six and RK finally getting up the ladder.

Six:"Elevator's gone up. We'll need to wait until she's off of it."

"She spoke to me." I whispered. I could tell that had Six's attention.

Six:"She what? Say that again."

"She spoke to me." I said, louder this time.

Six:"Your kidding. There's no way she could've saw you."

I shrugged, "Whether you want to believe me is up to you. I'm just saying what happened." The elevator dinged and it's door opened up.

RK:"Unless we're waiting for The Lady to come back down and get us, we should be going."

Six:"Get in the elevator." That wasn't a request either, more of a demand.

I was the first to walk in, "I'm up to try anything once. Because I'll only get a chance to try everything once." I joked and waited for RK as Six walked in behind me.

RK:"You can't be serious."

"I'm as serious as the sea around us. Only one way out. Either we die free, or we die trying." My ember wings appeared on my back, "No sense in waiting for inevitable death in this metal tomb."

RK:"Are those the only two options?" He nervously asked.

Six:"Get your ass in here." Six commanded.

RK:"Alright, alright fine. If I die I'm haunting both of you." He walked to the other side of the elevator and the doors shut behind him.

When the elevator doors opened, the adjoining room was one of confusion. Where most of the Maw had been a dirty, disgusting mess, the residence was a clean (if a little dusty) sight to see. I only have one complaint, "Who the hell needs to own this many mannequins? We're on a boat in the middle of no where, not the Pale City shopping center."

We all went silent as we heard ominous music playing from the next room. "Well, quietly it is." I took lead as we crossed the room, the large and rather terrifying figure of the Lady so close to us.

Once we were out of the room and hopefully out of earshot I asked, "You think she saw us through the glass shards?" RK and Six shook their heads. Even though they said no, I still can't shake the feeling that we're being watched.
