(The Maw - Child Sector, Your POV)

After crawling through the storage room in the back of the children's rest area, we dropped down onto some crates. I noticed a rat run by and then a stomach growl. Not a groan, not a rumble. A Growl. I looked back to Six, and realized what kind of dumb mistake I've made. I completely left everything back at the midpoint, before the leeches and everything.

I'd facepalm but face palming wouldn't begin to describe my lack of intelligence in this moment. Six held her stomach before fixing her posture again, "Hungry I'll assume. We'll have to find something because my dumbass left the suitcase back with Brown coat girl.

Six stared at my in amazement, definitely judging my intelligence right now. I don't blame her, I'm judging myself too.

We got about a dozen more feet before her stomach went rampant again, making an even louder growl this time. "This isn't good, we'll need to be quick about it then." I said, picking up my pace as we walked by a cafeteria, she could barely stand as her stomach attacked her a third time.

The hell is her stomach? An entity of its own? I noticed a child sitting in the cafeteria, a piece of meat on a tray. Seemingly disinterested or disgusted of it as he rocked back and forth in his seat.

I looked back to Six then at the kid. "Hey kid, you gonna eat that?" I casually asked, not wanted to scare him off. He shook his head, pushing the plate in the direction of the bars. "Would you mind if my friend had it instead? She's starving and I don't think there's anything else around here that isn't a leech or a rat."

The kid picked up the meat, and placed it between the bars, allowing me to grab it and hand it over to Six. She devoured the entire thing in the span of 6 seconds. My eyes widened in surprise, even the kid's eyes were widened under his bangs. "Thanks." Six quietly said. I gave the kid a thumbs up as Six began to climb the cages into a shower room.

A single leech was hanging from one of the shower heads, we ignored it and kept walking. Walking onto a catwalk where another electric barred door blocked the way.

Six tugged my sleeve and pointed to the cages, "We have to go up." She said, wiping her mouth of left over meat.

"Alright, then follow me." I climbed onto the cage closest to us, carefully navigating so neither of us would fall into the abyss below. What is with everywhere I go having an endless abyss?

There was a hanging set of cages swinging from side to side, I looked up, grabbing onto the chain and ascending from there. A cage climb, a tricky traversal of which we had to swing the cages across to the other side and one electric switch later, now we've gone back down to the area after cafeteria the lights are out, meaning the electric fence is off as well. Hopefully.

I took a step through the bathroom and heard a leech hit the floor. "Damn it." I really don't want to deal with any of these things right now so me and Six blitzed to the catwalk before any of the leeches really knew what was going on.

We slipped through a gate and into a room with another of the turn you into stone eye things. I'm getting real sick of these things already-

I grabbed Six's hand and ran to the mop bucket that was rolling back and forth, walking at a brisk pace and out of the room. "I hope we don't have to deal with anymore of those things."

We came to a bridge, the very second we stepped on it it began to retract and make our window to cross it very minimal. I quickly leapt onto the ledge and held my hand out for Six. She was smart and jumped just as the floor retracted fully and I pulled her up.

We entered a large empty room with small creatures making clicking noises, as soon as we approached them they ran away. We walked through the large metal door and into a stairwell.
