(The Maw - Residential Sector)

Another work day had ended, which left Twelve with some free time to try and focus more on his predecessors memories as today was another slow day, they had just gotten finished feeding the guests for the evening so he's already had some time to stabilize Four's power and memories into his own in between delivering food, and even better, he's added Four's wrathful explosion into his arsenal. He didn't tell Six anything knowing she'd as useful as a wet floor sign in a downpour but she did seem a little suspicious of him as of late.

Twelve sat at his desk and sat back in his chair, he let out a sigh of relief and lit a small flame on his fingertip. He lit a candle and pulled his notebook out from his drawer.

Flipping to an empty page, Twelve tried to focus on anything new that lurked in the corners of his mind, "Okay. Let's see..." He closed his eyes as fragments flashed across his mind. Both old and new, everything he had seen before...

"GAH!" Twelve yelled out in surprise from the sudden pain that shot through his head, clutching his throbbing head as he tried to focus on the memory, ignoring the pain.

A flash of vision turned into a glimpse into another timeline. In it, a teenager in purple sat on top a throne made of what Twelve could only tell as bones. "Kneel before my Divine Radiance, mortals! Venerate your new God!"

Twelve could tell whoever this was, they were probably the worst of his ancestors. "..." He was speechless even.

Twelve took a pen, ready to write down everything he saw in this new vision. Any small detail could prove useful to him if he wants to understand is power fully.

He shut his eyes, focusing as his hand began writing on its own, pulling information about him hidden deep within his subconscious.

- He was only after his own goals and when Six tried to recruit him, he initially rudely refused. Telling her to get lost and genuinely managed to hurt both her feelings and ego.

Twelve smiled, he wish he did that when meeting her too...

...Nah, this trip was way more fun.

- To Him, he was the only one that mattered in the Pale City, he does come from a pretty powerful family after all and even with the apocalypse he was to be treated like royalty.

Egotistical likely, good thing Twelve didn't pick up that trait.

- It was an absolute monarchy.

- Chaos

Chaos?

"The hell does it mean by Chaos?"

Twelve started to focus harder, putting his all into viewing his past life, just as he had with One and Four. Straining his mind as he cracked through the barrier to put himself in the body and mind of-

-Nine, at his court where Six and Mono were trying to convince him to join them on their adventure.

"-I could care less about what you want!" Nine's voice boomed through the room, his sat with his leg crossed over the other and a scowl on his face, settled there by annoyance.

He leaned closer to the two as his two guards eyed the visitors, untrusting. "This little trip you're trying to get me to go on doesn't seem worth my time at all. I thought I told you to get lost already so how the hell do you keep finding yourself asking me this nonsense?"

The ruler of this settlement, Nine, was in the process of berating Six and Mono for pestering him once again. This wasn't the first time Six had asked him to help her on her quest but it was the first time she had asked with Mono at her side.
