A Lot Of Blood Part 5

T/W BLOOD

Richard pulled Luzia closer to him and grabbed her by the back of her neck and by her right shoulder. He sunk his teeth into the left side of her neck and swallowed. Luzia closed her eyes and hoped that it would be painless.

After an hour of drinking, Richard released her and rested his head on her shoulder. Luzia felt her blood dripping down her neck, she could also feel a stinging pain. Luzia could hear Richard breathing heavily. 

"Are you ok?" She whispered to him.

"Hmm."

Luzia stroked his hair, it was damp with sweat.

"Are you sleepy?"

Luzia felt Richard nod.

"You can lay in my bed if you like."

Luzia rolled Richard over her and onto the other side of the bed. Richard was quite heavy as he was a 48 year old man, but him being half asleep made it easier. Luzia got up and grabbed a blanket from the bottom part of her wardrobe and opened it out, she then tried her best to cover Richard with it. Luzia wanted to lay in bed next to him, but she knew that he would be upset if he woke up in the morning next to her. 

Luzia's neck was still bleeding, it was now dripping onto her pyjama top. She couldn't exactly change her shirt while he was in the room so she decided to grab a clean one from her wardrobe and take it to the bathroom next-door.

Luzia rushed in and shut the door quietly. She locked the door and turned the light on. She took her shirt off and checked how much blood was on it. There was blood all over the top left half of the shirt. She decided to fill up the sink with warm water and soap and try her best to get the blood out of her pyjama shirt. She soaked the shirt in the water and added more soap directly onto the blood patches. She then rubbed the blood patches with her hand until the blood was almost gone. She then emptied the sink, that was now full of blood coloured water, and filled it with clean water. She then tried her best to get the rest of the blood out, not much more blood came out so she decided to stop. 

While her shirt was still off, she decided to clean her neck, but she didn't know how. She knew that Richard new a spell, but he was busy sleeping. She didn't know what to use to stop the blood either. She looked through some of the cupboards and shelves in the bathroom to see if she could find some plasters. She checked one of the cupboards and found some antiseptic liquid that soothed and cleaned cuts. She took it out and put it on the bathroom counter next to the sink, she checked another cupboard and found some cotton wool pads too. She decided to use those first.

The first thing she did was use some of the pads with cold water to wipe away the blood. She wiped the flood off her and then used a dry cotton wool pad to dry her neck. She then poured a little bit of antiseptic liquid  on a cotton wool pad and wiped where her vampire bite was. When the liquid touched her skin it made her bite hurt more. A tear built up in her eye and dripped down her face. She removed the pad and saw that more blood was coming out of her. She got another pad and held it onto her bite to try and hold the blood in. She bent down and checked if there was any type of tape in one of the cupboards, but there wasn't. She stood up again and checked some of the shelves, she found some masking tape. She tried her best to rip some strips of tape off and put them over the pad that she was holding onto her neck. Once she did it, she cleared away the mess she'd made in the bathroom and put her clean pyjama top on.

She quickly left the bathroom and went back into her bedroom without making a sound. To her surprise, Richard had gone. She didn't understand why or how. She checked in the wardrobe and under the bed, but he was definitely gone. Her owl was in it's cage, it made a twoo noise. Luzia assumed that her owl wanted attention so she walked over to it, there was a note on the desk next to the  tiger drawing that was made by the present Richard bought her from yesterday.

She picked up the note and read it,

Luzia, sorry for what I did. I'm sorry if I made you bleed too much. I'll come back at 9:00am tomorrow and I'll help fix your neck. Try and hide your bite from your family until then.

Bye.

Luzia took the note to bed with her and kept rereading it while she laid in bed. She didn't feel tired at all. She laid the note on the other pillow as if it was a person and she laid on her back, looking up at the ceiling. She wasn't very comfy, but she tried her best to fall to sleep.

Luzia didn't fall to sleep until 3:00am the next day. At 9:00am she was awoken by Richard shaking her. She knew it was him before even opening her eyes.

"Hmm?"

"Your mum's out, she took Penelope with her."

Luzia opened her eyes.

"Why?"

"I don't know, they went to the shop I think. I'm in charge."

Sarah smiled at him. "Where's Benji? I can't imagine he'd be happy about you being here."

"I haven't seen him. Get up so I can fix your neck." Luzia pulled herself out of bed and stood up. Richard took the pad and tape off her neck, pointed his want at her neck and did the 'Episkey' spell to heal her. "Done."

"Thank you." She told him "Why did you leave?"

"I got worried, I thought I hurt you."

"You did, but I'm fine now."

"Yes, thanks to me. Come on, I'll make you something to eat."

"I'll get dressed first. She told him.

Richard left the room and went downstairs. Luzia got dressed. She put on a light blue t-shirt and navy blue jogging bottoms.

She walked downstairs and Richard was using magic to cook. "What do you want, Luzia?"

"Whatever. What was your favourite breakfast before you became a...you know what?"

"I liked bacon sandwiches."

"Can I have one of them?"

"Sure."

Richard opened the fridge using magic and made the bacon float into the frying pan using his wand. Luzia had never seen anything like that, Mildred never really used much magic while cooking and neither did her mother.

Just as Richard finished making Luzia's bacon sandwich, Penelope and Sarah came home from the shop. From the moment Penelope walked into the house, she was shouting. "Oh my god mum. That was so embarrassing.

Sarah followed her inside, "It's fine, the man at the shop didn't even care."

"Oh my god, yes he did care."

She went up the stairs.

"Penelope, come back and take this bag of stuff upstairs with you."

"No! It's too embarrassing." She shouted as she slammed her bedroom door.

"What's the matter with Penelope?" Asked Richard.

Sarah sighed, "She's started."

Richard looked confused. "Started what?"

"Her period."
