It was bright and early the next day, Luzia woke up and got changed right away. She needed to tell Benji about what Richard and their mum did yesterday. She also wanted to see Richard again, she still hated him, but she did kind of miss him.
Luzia got dressed and opened Penelope's curtains, she was still fast asleep. Luzia couldn't be bothered with waking her up so she decided to leave without her, she also didn't want to risk making Sophie and Michelle waking up and her them saying rude stuff to her again.
She decided to write a letter to Benji about what she saw as it would be easier for her as she couldn't get into the Ravenclaw common room herself. She found a scrap piece of paper on the floor of the common room and she grabbed a pen from a jar of pens on the table near the fireplace. She sat down by the window and began to write,
To Benji,
I have news about mum and Professor Villarreal's relationship. I should have told you about it yesterday, but I couldn't exactly tell you while he was around. I'll keep this short, he almost kissed her. Meet me and Penelope outside the Great Hall at lunch time and we'll tell you more.
Bye- Luzia.
Luzia then left the castle and went to the Owlery. She went across the grass and past the many trees that were swaying in the early morning wind. Barley anybody else was around (or so she thought). Luzia walked towards the Owlery and opened the door.
When she opened the door she saw Vanessa Riddle inside. She was doing a similar thing to Luzia, it looked like she was putting her letter on an owl and sending it somewhere.
"Hi." She said without looking at Luzia.
"Hi."
"Don't mind me, pick an owl and send your letter."
Luzia ignored her and called her owl down from where it was. The owl swooped down and landed on Luzia's arm. Luzia tied her letter onto her owls leg and allowed it to fly away. Vanessa was still in there. It looked like she was just stroking her owl rather than sending any letters.
"Is that your owl?" Asked Luzia.
"Yes, my step mother bought me it." Vanessa told her.
Vanessa was very polite, but she had an odd accent. It didn't sound British or from any UK country. She clearly knew English well though.
"Cool, my mother bought me mine."
"Yes well, my real mother would have bought me it, but she died."
"Oh. My father is dead."
"Mine is as well. I'm an orphan." Vanessa went on. "Oh. You are Gellert Grindelwald's daughter, aren't you?"
Luzia nodded.
"Interesting, I have a secret. Don't tell anybody, but my father is like yours."
"How so?" Luzia asked.
"My father was a dark wizard too, Voldemort. My mother too, she was Bellatrix."
"Oh." Luzia wasn't really familiar with Voldemort. She knew who he was, but not much. She never knew he had a child or a wife. Luzia was slightly scared. She knew herself that, she wasn't too dangerous, but she didn't trust that Vanessa wasn't dangerous. "Interesting, I need to go and have breakfast now."
"Please, may I join you?"
"Erm, sure."
"Great."
Vanessa followed Luzia out of the Owlery and back across the grass and into the castle. They walked into the Great Hall and saw that Penelope was there.
