Fire Protection Potion Making Part 17

Before the others came in, Penelope asked Richard a question. 

"Professor, is it true that mum is coming?"

"Yes, I spoke with her yesterday evening about it."

Penelope and Luzia stared at each other, "In person or in a letter?"

"Hmm?"

Michelle, Luke and Sophie walked in.

"Over a letter, she will arrive in the next couple of days."

"Who will?" Asked Michelle as she sat down.

"None of your business, Miss Porter. I expect that you all have your potion books."

"Hmm." The class said.

Benji walked in with some of the other fellow Ravenclaw boys such as Steven Mann, Richard Scotts and Phil Rose. They all sat down in the same seats as last year and got their book out of their bag.

"What are we leaning today?" Asked Steven.

"Fire Protection." Professor Villarreal told him. "Firstly, I need to tell you about this potion so please take notes."

The children got paper out of their bags and started writing.

"You can use this potion to allow you to walk through fire without getting injured."

The children wrote that down.

"When you drink it, it makes you feel cold as if it has ice in it."

The children wrote that down.

"The potion, it's self is blue."

The children wrote that down.

"Now, I need you all to get into groups of 3s and I want one person from each group to follow me to the store cupboard to get the ingredients ." Richard said.

Once he stopped talking, all the children began to put themselves into small groups. Obviously, Luzia and Penelope put themselves together, but they needed a 3rd person. Luke was already in a group with Sophie and Michelle and Benji was already in a group with Steven and Betty Ross from Ravenclaw. After a couple of minutes, everyone was in groups of 3 apart from Luzia and Penelope. 

"Are you all in groups of 3?" Richard asked.

Everyone nodded apart from Penelope and Luzia.

"Great, 1 person from each group, follow me."

Richard led 1 person from each group to the store cupboard at the back of the room.

"You will all need, 1 bursting mushroom, a tiny bottle of salamander blood and some Wartcaps."

Luzia wrote all of this down.

"What should we do?" Whispered Penelope to Luzia.

"Wait until everyone is busy and we will ask him if we can do it in pairs."

"Now go back to your tables and read what is on the blackboard, they are instructions on how to add all your ingredients correctly."

Each child picked up their ingredients and scurried back to their tables with them.

As Richard walked away he glanced at Luzia's table, neither of them had the ingredients. He stopped waking and stood next to the table.

"Ladies, where are your ingredients?" He said.

"We don't have a 3rd person to work with and-"

"Then work in a pair then. Penelope, get the ingredients."
