Penelope's Problem Part 6

Richard looked uncomfortable. Luzia burst out laughing.

"I don't know why you're laughing Luzia, you'll have your period soon too."

Luzia stopped laughing. "Why me?"

"Cause all young women have it at some point."

"So why's her period now, we are triplets so shouldn't it all be at the same time?"

"Maybe, but maybe not. Yours could come at any point, It could come now or in 2 years."

Luzia glanced at Richard, he looked frightened. She quickly remembered that Penelope's blood would probably affect him.

"So do you have it?"

"Yes."

"How often?"

Penelope crept out of her room and stood at the top of the stairs listening.

"A few days every month, I started when I was 12."

"Eww, I though-"

"EVERY MONTH?" Shouted Penelope from the top of the stairs. She marched down to the bottom step. "EVERY MONTH? YOU SAID ONCE."

"Yes... once every month."

"FOR HOW LONG?"

"Till your about 50 year old."

"OH MY GOD, THAT IS DISGUSTING, I REFUSE TO DO IT!"

"You can't really refuse it, it happens naturally." Sarah told her.

"WHY DOESN'T LUZIA HAVE HERS?"

"Cause her body isn't ready yet."

"I'm glad I don't have it, it sounds like boring."

Richard stood there, still looking scared and uncomfortable. "Maybe, I should come back later?"

"SEE, EVEN PROFESSOR VILLARREAL DOESN'T CARE ABOUT IT, SO WHY SHOULD I?"

"Cause Professor Villarreal is a boy, boys don't have it." Sarah told her.

"WHY DON'T BOYS HAVE IT?"

"Because boys don't get pregnant." Luzia told her.

"HOW DO YOU KNOW? HAVE YOU EVEN EVEN KISSED A BOY, LET ALONE MADE A BABY WITH ONE."

"Penelope, calm down. Don't blame Luzia for your problems. I am sure that Professor Villarreal can explain why boys and girls are different, can't you?" Sarah turned to face him, he looked terrified.

"Erm, boys have certain parts that girls don't have and girls have certain parts that boys don't have." He slowly.

"WHY?"

"Because boys have a penis and girls have...other things."

"THAT IS NOT FAIR. WHY DOESN'T BENJI AND PROFESSOR VILLARREAL HAVE THIS PROBLEM?"

"Boys have their own problems." Luzia said, "Don't they grow beards and stuff?"

"Yes, they also get smelly and hairy armpits too." Richard added.

"THAT ISN'T THE SAME, THEY CAN SHAVE AND WEAR DEHODRENT TO FIX THOSE THINGS."

"They also grow taller and they have deeper voices."

"BENJI DOESN'T."

"Yes, but he will in the next couple of years." Sarah told her.

"OH MY GOD, I HATE THIS. I AM GOING TO MY BEDROOM. DO NOT FOLLOW ME."
