Moody Luzia Part 12

Today was the 1st of September (The children's first day of their second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry). Sarah, Richard and the children woke up at around 8:00am. Everyone got dressed, came downstairs and went into the dining room for breakfast apart from Richard who was busy packing the children's trunks and bags into the car for them.

"You really don't need to do that Richard, come and have something for breakfast." Sarah asked him.

Sarah kept popping her head through the front door which was open, she didn't want Richard to go hungry on his first day back at work.

"I'm fine, Sarah. I am not hungry."

"Not even on your first day?"

"No, I'm too nervous." He lied.

"You'll be fine, I've been meaning to ask; Are you teaching any of the kids this year for Potions or anything?"

"I haven't seen my timetable yet, I'll get it when I'm on the train. If you like, I'll write you a letter this evening about my classes."

"Cool thanks. I'll go check on the children."

Sarah left Richard alone.

"Kids, we have 2 hours until we need to leave."

"Can't we apparate there?" Asked Penelope.

Sarah looked unsure about it.

"Please mum, it will be quicker." Benji begged her.

"Hmm, I'll go and ask Professor Villarreal."

Sarah left the room and went into the drive way again.

"Richard?"

"Yes?"

He was just finishing putting Luzias owl and Benji's Niffler into the back of the car.

"The children was to me to apparate them to the train station, thoughts?"

"Surly it will be quicker and safer, so why not?"

"But-"

"It will be safer, Sarah. Luzia and the others will be safer if we get there as quick as possible- I'll take them myself so you can remain here, if you like."

He walked over to her and put his hands on her arms. He gazed into Sarah's eyes and smiled, he looked over her shoulder and saw Luzia stood in the hallway, staring at them. She looked sad. Richard quickly removed his hands from Sarah and became more stern.

"I'll take the children's things out of the car and then I can apparate then in an hours time. Don't worry."

"Ok. Thanks. I might go on a run then."

"Great."

Sarah went inside and went into her room to change her clothes. Luzia was still stood in the hallway staring at Richard. Richard moved his fingers to tell Luzia to come closer to him so they could talk. She walked through the door but didn't leave the house.

"Come with me into the garage so we can talk." He whispered to her.

Luzia looked unsure but followed him anyway.

When they both were inside of the garage he began to talk.

"How are you, Luzia?"

"Fine."

"Great, what's up?"

"You touched my mum."

"Yes..."

"And you love her?"

Richard rolled his eyes, "Not this again Luzia. Stop giving me mixed signals, one minute you love me and then the next your happy for me to be with your mum, make your mind up for once."
