NARRATOR'S POV:
Days passed and fifth years were now preparing for O.W.L exams. Anna was terrorised more than ever. George and Fred tried to cheer her up in any way they could but this could help the least.
Anna had Calming Draught atleast once in two weeks. To be honest, she was going crazy about her O.W.L exams.
It was Valentine's day. Everyone one was in the great hall, having wonderful breakfast. The great hall was all covered with Valentine's decorations, engendering love in every young heart.
George Weasley was at the top of the list of the young hearts, blooming with love in it. He couldn't stop staring at Anna since morning but couldn't muster up courage to ask her to be his Valentine. Seriously this boy, don't know what was keeping him from stepping forward now.
Anna was sat across from George and Fred on breakfast table. George's eyes were pinned on Anna as she was chatting with Diana and Ginny, admiring every feature and every detail of her face.
"Hey, Georgie!", Fred called.
"What?", George said, his eyes still fastened on Anna.
"Are you just gonna stare at her all day or are you gonna ask her to be your Valentine?", Fred asked with a smirk.
"Staring? Who? I'm not staring at anyone", George quickly looked down at his plate.
"Come on mate. Just ask her out. How hard could it be?", Fred said crankily.
"I'll ask her. I still have better part of the day", George said.
He was still figuring out how to ask Anna out.
Gryffindors and Slytherins were in Transfiguration class with Professor Mcgonagall."In Transfiguration, today we'll be exploring the Muggle tradition of sending love notes on Valentine's day but in a magical way", Professor Mcgonagall told.
"And so, today we will be learning how to transfigure lovebirds into love notes", Professor Mcgonagall explained.
"Interesting huh!", Diana, who was sitting with Anna, looked at her and smirked.
"The love notes will say whatever is in your heart, but I can assure those who prefer privacy that these notes are quite innocent, akin to those on Muggles' candy heart. These messages will be delivered in the style of a Howlers", Professor Mcgonagall explained and George turned around to look at Anna. Anna blushed as he smiled at her.
"In front of everyone of you is a lovebird. Now observe carefully and try to transfigure your lovebird into a love note", saying this Professor Mcgonagall showed the students proper wand movement.
"Now it's your turn students", everyone in the class was now attempting to transform their lovebirds to love notes.
"This is your chance mate. Go on and send one to Anna", Fred said to George.
"Okay", George said excitedly.
He pointed his wand at the orange and green bird in front of him. He waved his wand in proper movement and his lovebird transformed to an envelope with a pink bow on it. It flew to where Anna was and attached itself to her cheek, like giving her a peck.
Her cheeks blossomed with a shy, when the love note did that and looked over to George who was looking at her and was blushing hard.
Anna opened the envelope and read what it said.
Hey gorgeous! Would you like to hang out with me today. Trust me, If you say yes, you won't regret it.
George Weasley.
