Chapter#13 Saved

ANNA'S POV:

I opened my eyes slowly and found myself laying in the hospital bed. I looked around to find everyone there, everyone. Mum and Dad, Professor Dumbledore, Professor Mcgonagall, Professor Snape, Hagrid, Uncle Remus, Harry, Mione, Ginny, Ron, Diana, George and Fred. I smiled at them.

Mum was sitting on one side of the bed and George on the other. Both were holding my hands. As soon as I sat up straight Mum engufled me in a bone crushing long hug. Dad walked to the other side of the bed, where George was sitting and hugged me tightly. George got up and stood with Fred.

"Who brought me here? Who saved me?", I asked.

"Remus did, he brought you back to the castle", Dad answered. I smiled at uncle Remus but I saw the question in his eyes 'what were you doing at the lake'.

"Sweetheart how are you feeling?", Mum asked shedding few tears.

"Loved and happy", I replied and wiped her tear away. Dad pressed a gentle kiss on my forehead and Mum on my cheek.

"Eat this. You'll feel better", Uncle Remus sat on the bed and handed me a chocolate. Diana came and gave me a hug.

"I'm so happy you are okay", said Diana.

Then Ginny and Mione hugged me tightly. Harry and Ron also stepped forward and hugged me. Ron also gave me some chocolates. I thanked him for that.

"Ms Mcxandra may I know what were you actually doing at the black lake", Professor Mcgonagall asked sternly.

"Um Pr-professor I was j-just...", I stuttered because everyone had their eyes on me and were waiting for me to answer but I didn't know what to say.

"It's okay Menerva. We can ask Ms Mcxandra later when she is fine", Professor Dumbledore said and the three professors left with Hagrid.

"I think Ms Mcxandra should take some rest before I discharge her", Madam Pomfrey said and Uncle Remus asked everyone to leave.

Everyone said bye and left except for George and Fred. Uncle Remus took Mum and Dad and left. Fred walked towards me and hugged me with all his strength.

"You scared the shit out of me. You shouldn't have gone to the lake alone Anna", said Fred.

"But we've been there a thousand times", I said innocently.

"Yes we've been there a thousand times together but alone is dangerous , specially with the dementors floating around freely", said Fred.

"I'm sorry ", I said more innocently. I looked at George who was watching me anxiously.

"Georgie, no toilet seat for me?", I said smiling mischievously.

He ran towards me without wasting another second and engufled me his tight embrace. His grip on me was so strong yet so gentle. I felt a thousand butterflies fluttering in my stomach. I tried to contain myself but his soft touch didn't allow that. Eventually I gave in and wrapped my arms around him and placed my head on his shoulder. Fred stood there smiling at us.

"You scared me out of my wits Anna", George said softly. I felt his hot breath on my neck and chills went down my spine.

"I'm sorry Georgie", we stayed like that for few minutes.

I closed my eyes and caught his soft whiff. His cinnamon, honey and fireworks scents blended into each other perfectly, giving me a soothing sensation. I felt filled with love and joy again.

In that moment he made me feel like he was all mine. He made me forget that he had a girlfriend and the way he held me I don't think he remembered that himself. I melted in his warm touch and wished that it never end. I never wanted to break free from George's peaceful embrace. But then we heard someone clearing her throat. George released me much to my displeasure.
