Chapter#34 The Second Task

NARRATOR'S POV:

Sunday afternoon, a beautiful day with snow falling thickly upon the castle, blanketing several feet the ground. George was in his dorm with Fred, planning stuff about their future joke shop, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, when he heard a knock at the door. He sprinted towards the door, knowing that it must be Anna. He opened the door and found Anna and Diana, with coats, beanies, scarves, gloves and boots on.

"Are you two going somewhere?", he asked, confused.

"Yes, we all are. Get Freddie and your coat. We are going out for a snowman competition", Anna said, excitedly.

"Okay, I'll get Fred", George said, ten times more excited than Anna.

George and Fred put their coats and beanies on and they set off for the grounds.

"Diana and I are a team", Anna said.
"No, you are my team", George said and pulled her into his arms.

"I don't wanna argue cause it'll be useless. Fred and I are a team", Diana said.

"Thanks Diana. Let's get started", George said.

Both teams were putting their heart and souls into the competition to make the bigger snowman than the other. George was making a big snowball for body and Anna was making small snowball for face. George was facing some problem shaping the snowball with gloves on so, he took them off.

"What are you doing Georgie! Keep wearing them", Anna said.

"They're not comfortable. I want my snowman to be perfect", George said, nonchalantly.

George's hands were as cold as ice by the time he finished making a large snowball so, the mischief king touched Anna's face with both his hands, who was busy making snowman's eyes.

"Aaah Georgie, so cold!", Anna squeaked. George laughing, wrapped his arms around her and gave her a warm, long kiss, which enamored her heart. They broke apart from the kiss after what felt like hours and smiled heartily at each other.

"Warm now", he said, smiling down at her and touched his forehead with hers.

"Hot", she said giggling.

"We're done", Fred and Diana screamed, triumphantly.

"Oh crap", George muttered. They both turned and saw Fred and Diana's big snowman.

"Disadvantage of romances in middle of a competition", Fred shouted. He and Diana laughed.

"It's all your fault", Anna said crossly.

"I'm sorry darling. We can just complete our snowman and have fun atleast, yeah?", George said.

"Okay", Anna smiled. The couple completed making their snowman. George put his gloves and Anna put her scarf on the snowman.

"Ours is better than yours", George said sticking out his tongue at Fred and Diana.

The four best friends started a snowball fight after that and enjoyed themselves in the snow. They paid a visit to Hagrid in the evening, as he resumed classes. Hagrid had always been close friends with Anna, Diana and the twins so he was delighted to see them and made them tea, though Anna barely took a sip or two as she was not a fan of tea.

After dinner Anna was in her dorm, completing her Herbology assignment with Diana while George was in his dorm with Fred making some joke candies. By the time Anna finished her assignment it was about 1:30 am. She went to George's dorm but found him sound asleep so she went back to her own dorm, not wanting to disturb him cause looked really tired.

It was 8:30 in the morning and Anna was still in her bed which was not usual because Anna was a morning person. Diana, Hermione and Ginny were fully ready for school. Diana waked over to Anna's bed and shook her awake.
