Chapter#12 Dementor's Attack

Anna's POV:

I was in the prefect's bathroom. Chocolate was there too, running around. I was playing with the colorful bubbles, thinking that George was right, it would've been better if were dating my prefect's bathroom, it would've been better that way, I would've been happier. Then I started talking to the mermaid on the window.

"Do you know why I like coming here?", as I said this Maoning Myrtle propped out of the water. I screamed as she suddenly jumped out of the water.

"Hi Anna", she said in her shrill voice.

"Myrtle you scared me", my heart was still pounding. She gave her annoying chuckle and sat beside me. I sighed.

"Myrtle have you ever loved someone who is someone else's boyfriend", I asked her.

"No, but I was teased by Olive Hornby about my glasses before I died. That was a horrible feeling", she started her story and I regretted my question.

Suddenly I heard the bathroom door opened and my head sprung towards the door and I saw a boy entering but I  couldn't see his face. Chocolate ran towards him trying to stop him from coming in.

"Hello little fella. What are you doing here?", he stroked Chocolate. I recognised the voice. It was Cedric Diggory. I ducked myself trying to hide in the lather.

"Is there someone else with you?", Cedric asked Chocolate and she meowed at him.

"Um..Cedric its me, Anna", I said.

"Oh I'm sorry Anna I didn't know you were here", he apologised.

"It's okay Cedric. Would you just wait right there so that I can get dressed", I said.

"Sure. I'll just turn around", he said, although he couldn't see me from where he was standing.

I got out of the pool and dried myself with towel and wore my clothes.

"Cedric, you can come", I said. He turned and walked towards me.

"I'm sorry Anna", he said.

"No, don't apologise. I was about to leave", I started walking out but he called me.

"Anna, you look upset. Is everything alright?", he asked.

"Yes, I'm alright Cedric", I answered him and started walking out.

"I'm sorry about your break up Anna", he said and I turned on my heels.

"I'm sorry. My break up!", I repeated his words. I was taken aback by his words.

"Yes, yours and Weasley's break up. Everyon has been talking about what happened in the Gryffindor common room. About how one of your friends tried to hex Weasley after he got a new girlfriend", he said. I was completely shocked to hear that.

"Hang on, hang on. What are you talking about? Me and George, we never dated", I told him.

"George, I never mentioned which twin", he smirked.

"You like him and you are upset because he got another girl", he said and I stood there wide eyed.

"I'm sorry ", he seemed embarrassed at his words when he caught the look on my face.

"Okay listen, it is true. I like him but you are not telling this to anyone", I said sternly.

"Of course not. But everyone was talking about you and I thought you were dating", he was confused.

"No, it's nothing like that. But why is everyone talking about us", I asked.

"Because all the boys want you. You know you are quite popular among the boys for your beauty and no doubt you are very beautiful", he said with a smirk.
