ANNA'S POV :

It was evening and I was in my dorm, doing my Transfiguration homework. I was feeling so dull and blue because
another day passed without spending much time with George.

I stopped writing and placed my head on the desk. I closed my eyes and tried to relax myself. I heard flapping of wings and I opened my eyes and lifted my head up to see Cotton, my owl soaring through the clouds with a letter in her beak.

She came and rested on the desk. I took the letter from her beak and saw the name on it, it was from Mum. It reminded me that Mum send me an owl two days ago and I forgot to write her back. She must be worried. I never did this before. I facepalmed, realising that how irresponsible I'm being lately.

I gave Cotton some treats and she flew out of the window. I put my books aside and read Mum's letter. She asked if I'm okay and asked why didn't I reply to her previous owl.

I took a parchment and started writing, telling Mum and Dad that I'm completely fine and said that I forgot to write back because I was busy with study. I didn't want to tell them anything about me and George right now, because there was nothing to tell except for that we were not doing well together.

I took the letter and walked out of Gryffindor tower to Owlery to send owl to Mum. I climbed the icy stairs and walked inside and found Oliver there, sending owl, of course. I froze right there as an instinct to see him. I haven't spoken to him since our, 'date'.

"Hey Anna. Long time no see. How are you?", he said smiling fondly at me.

"Hi Oliver. I'm good", he's a really nice guy.

I don't really feel good when he express his feelings for me but I don't reciprocate the feelings. I hope he finds someone else who likes him back.

I walked to Cotton and she took the letter in her beak. I told her to take it to Mum and she flew away hooting.

"So, where are you going now?", he asked giving me a cheeky smile.

"I'm actually going back to Gryffindor tower. I have homework to finish", I answered him.

"Okay, I'll walk you to your dorm", he tucked his hands in his pockets.

I just noded. He gestured towards the exit and we climbed down the stairs and walked back to Gryffindor tower.

"Password?", fat lady asked for the password.

"Fortuna Major", Oliver gave the password and we entered the common room.

I saw George and Fred sitting with Lee and Diana. I said bye to Oliver and walked up to them and sat beside George. He looked at me with a glum expression. I know that he doesn't like it when I'm with Oliver. How do it tell you George that he's got nothing on you. You are the only one on my mind all the time. After few minutes, the boys got up to leave.

"I'm sorry girls but we have to go right now. We're going to set a brand spanking new prank for Mr Filch. See you later", Fred said and the three walked out of the common room.

We both shook our heads. Diana and I went back to our dorm and I finished my Transfiguration homework.

After dinner, I went to the prefect's bathroom for a nice warm bath to calm myself down. Everything was so stressful. My feelings for George kept growing and I couldn't do anything about it. I want to be with him and tell him everything I feel for him.

Why does this have to be so difficult. I sighed heavily and closed my eyes to calm my brain down. Warm baths really makes my mind serene.

After bathing I got dressed and walked out of the prefect's bathroom. As I turned around the corner, I bumped into someone and toppled over.
