Chapter#26 Quidditch World Cup

ANNA'S POV:

My O.W.L.S result.

I achieved eleven OWLs.
Nine "Outstandings" and two "Exceeds Expectations" in Astronomy and History of Magic.

Fifth year at Hogwarts was fascinating, wasn't it? George made a decision to date Darla and we all were so against it, not even one was in favour, George included. But the good thing was that he soon realised that it was just a mistake and he corrected that mistake, which made the end of the year propitious and I was beyond happy.

I used to stay in a jovial mood, and Mum sure noticed that. Diana had come to stay with me for three days now. We had to go to the Burrow and from there, we would be going to Quidditch World Cup with Weasleys.

We were all, except Dad, sitting in the living room enjoying Pimm's.

"Diana", Mum called grabbing mine and Diana's attention.

"Yes, Mrs Mcxandra", Diana responded.

"Do you know the reason why Anna has been so happy this summer?", she asked with a sort of smirk.

I shook my head because Mum had been asking me the reason why was I overjoyed but I kept leaving her question unanswered.

"Oh yes, I do. Guess what, George broke up with Carson. That's why she's so happy", she answered excitedly.

"Diana! Shut up", I shot her a warning look.

"Oh really. Why didn't you tell me earlier Anna? I didn't like that girl much", Mum said.

Sometimes she really acted like she was my best friend not my Mum and that's why Diana enjoyed her company so much.

"Mum! You met her just once. You don't even know her", I said.

"Once was enough to know her, trust me", Mum said and Diana chuckled.

It was the day when we had to go to the Burrow. Me and Diana along with Chocolate went downstairs with our trunks and found Mum and Dad on the breakfast table.

The sun had not risen fully yet, but there were faint beams of sunlight illuminating the world.

"Good morning", Diana and I took our seats on the breakfast table.

"Good morning", Mum and Dad said back.

"Eat your breakfast girls, we have to leave. Don't wanna be late", Mum said.

After breakfast we all got ready to leave. Mum sat in the passengers seat and Diana and I sat in thŕe back seat with Chocolate on my lap. Dad drove us all to the Burrow. Reaching there, Dad honked the horn to tell them about our arrival and George and Fred came out running to welcome us.

As soon as the car stopped I flung the door open and sprinted towards the twin, leaving Diana to get the luggage out of the car alone. I ran into George's open arms. He held me tightly and lifted me off my feet. He released me and I hugged Fred.

"Has Diana come with you?", he whispered in my ear while hugging me.
I backed off and smirked at him.

"Yes, she has", I said smirking.

"I missed you", I said, looking at them fondly.

"We missed you too", they said in unison, looking at me in the same way

"You've grown hair! You look...pretty", I said looking at George.

"I look pretty!", he said turning red.
