Allison's POV-
I jerk, knees hitting the underside of my desk, as the fourth period bell rings, signaling lunch. Wow, I'm jumpy today.
As I open the classroom door, I almost hit somebody in the face. "Oh, frick!"
I'm face to face with the boy from earlier today, the one who laughed at me when the first bell made me jump.
He seems more familiar as I inspect his face. He smirks. "Am I really that attractive?"
I scowl, and push the door into him, walking away.
As I'm walking to the food court, I see a crowd ahead. As I get closer, I see the Louis Vuitton handbags and the Jimmy Choo shoes. It's the popular kids, aka divas. They're surrounding the new girl, Savannah. I almost feel bad for her, but I don't because shit doesn't bother me. But these girls are worse than piranhas. I pass by, hearing them taunt her hair, clothes, and shoes. She's actually pretty impressive, somebody I might actually hang out with. She's medium height, with pixie cut blonde hair. She's dressed in black leggings, black Doc Marten's, a maroon crop top, and maroon nails. Her eyes have heavy black eyeliner. She has a nose piercing, and five ear piercings total, two earlobe on each side, and one cartilage on the left.
I stop, hanging on the outside of the kill circle, curious. The queen of the cool kids, Bethany, is in the center, throwing taunt after taunt at Savannah. Surprisingly, she doesn't even look fazed.
Then she shocks all of us. "Are you done yet?"
Bethany is extremely taken aback. She most likely has never been interrupted in her life. Savannah continues. "And I bet all your brain cells have been suffocated by the amount of makeup your wearing."
"OOOH BURN!" Some jock shouts, overhearing.
Something flashes in Savannah's eyes. She turns, pushing her way through the crowd, and walks away.
Bethany recovers from her shock. "What a loser!" She laughs, and the whole squad joins in. She's acting like nothing's wrong, but I can tell two things; one, Savannah completely humiliated Bethany, and two, it's not something she's gonna forget anytime soon.
