Distant Memories

Chapter 7

Savvy's POV-
One week left till Christmas break. I shut my locker and walk to the school Starbucks, where Robbie's waiting. We've been hanging out everyday after school for the past week.
I see him walking towards me, away from Starbucks. "You didn't wait for me?" I fake pouted.
He laughed and wrapped an arm around my shoulders. "You know you can't pout. Plus, it looks kinda pointless with the way you dress."
I shove him playfully. "What do you mean, the way I dress?"
"You know, all badass and stuff."
"Okay. Your lucky I like you, otherwise I would probably beat you up." I smirk.
"Please don't." He laughs.
We reach Starbucks and he opens the door for me. "After you, ma'am."
I fake curtsy. "Thank you."
As we step up to the counter, the barista looks at Robbie and raises her eyebrows. He nods his head, barely distinctly. She then asks me, "What can I get for you?"
"A venti java chip frappuccino, please."
A few minutes later, my order is called out. I grab my cup and take a sip. Robbie is looking at me curiously. "What?" I ask.
His eyes drift to the cup in my hand. "Nothing."
"Is something wrong?" I inspect my drink. Then I see the words written on the side. Will you go out with me? ~ Robbie. I look up at him. He has a hopeful look on his face.
I pretend to think about it. "Hmmmmm.... Okay, yes!"
"Really?" His face lights up.
"Yep!" He pulls me into a hug, and I smile into his chest.

Ally's POV-
"He's a player, Sav. You can't trust him."
"I really like him though. Besides, if he cheats on me, he's gonna be very sorry."
I laugh. "Whoever double-crosses you might wanna run for their lives."
Savvy makes a snarling face. "Grrrr."
We both double over laughing. After calming down I say, "But seriously, I mean it. Please be careful with him."
"I know he hurt you in the past, but people change. Besides," she adds, grinning wickedly, "if he does cheat, we're gonna make him sorry he ever looked at us."
