Hello! In this part of the story, I'll copy-paste the free time events from the main story. This is mainly just for me to refer back to them when I write, but I figured I might as well post it. 

Chapter 1

Raiden Miyazaki - FTE 1

Akihiko: "Oh, hey Raiden. What are you-"

Raiden: "...Sigh. Did you need to interrupt me?"

Akihiko: "Interrupt you? What were you doing?"

Raiden: "Well, nothing. My train of thought was just interrupted."

Akihiko: "Oh, uh, alright. What were you... Thinking about?"

Raiden: "I was just considering what could possibly be past this door. It's quite a mystery, although so are the other locked doors in this damned place..."

Akihiko: "Yeah, true..."

Raiden: "...So, what do you want?"

Akihiko: "Oh, I dunno. I'm just bored and was looking for someone to talk to."

Raiden: "...Sigh. I went off on my own so I could be left alone."

Akihiko: "Oh, okay. Sorry about that."

Raiden: "It's fine... I suppose I can spare a few minutes. What exactly did you want to speak about, then?"

Akihiko: "Uh... I don't know. You're not supposed to start a conversation like that I think, haha... So, uh, what do you... Like to do for fun?"

Raiden: "Hm. I rarely have time for activities like you're probably thinking of. I tend to spend most of my time at home researching."

Akihiko: "Researching...? So you don't play any sports or nothing?"

Raiden: "I... Can't say I ever have, no."

Akihiko: "Never?! Your mom never forced you to sign up for soccer or anything when you were a kid? I thought all kids had to do that..."

Raiden: "... I don't believe my childhood was as average as others like you. I had little choice but to stay inside for most of that time period."

Akihiko: "No choice? Are your parents really strict or something?"

Raiden: "No, they are quite kind. I was sick for most of my childhood, you see."

Akihiko: "Sick...? How were you sick for that long?"

Raiden: "...Tch, you have a lot of questions, huh?"

Akihiko: "Oh, sorry, I-"

Raiden: "It's fine. I have no qualms with answering them. You remember that 'very rare' virus I mentioned during that icebreaker Kishiko had us do yesterday, right?"

Akihiko: "Uh... Kinda."

Raiden: "Yes, well, the reason I wish to find a cure for it is because I caught it when I was very young. It's a unique strain that, as far as my research has shown, only exists in southern Brazil. Unfortunately, that is where my family and I went on vacation during one particular summer."

Akihiko: "Huh. What's Brazil like?"

Raiden: "...It's not a bad vacation spot, I suppose. Quite beautiful. Anyway, this particular strain of virus is extremely deadly. It has a 92% fatality rate."
