Ever since she was a child, Natsuko has always had a drive to help people and do the right thing. After a terrible accident during her childhood involving a fire, Natsuko, in her rage and grief, internally blamed the fire department for not helping in time, and even then not doing enough to save everyone. Although she knew it was not truly their fault, she could never shake that thought from inside her. It was this drive that, years later, caused her to train to become a firefighter. She wanted to make sure no tragedy like that would ever happen again. She realizes how stupidly optimistic that dream is, but she'll never let that stop her.
Natsuko is an optimistic and hearty girl with a strong moral compass. She always feels the need to support and protect those around her, which often makes her come off as an overprotective mom. If someone feels down, she will take it upon herself to motivate them and pick them up. However, when this doesn't work, or some tragedy she cannot prevent occurs, she tends to immediately blame herself. Otherwise, though, she tends to keep up her passionate and caring attitude no matter what.
