APOLLO:
After Will stopped, I felt a pang of guilt that I couldn't support Percy when he needed me the most. We waited there impatiently for Nico as there were only 30 minutes left before it was too late. I sat down in a chair, moved it near to Percy and intertwined my fingers with his. I caressed his hand and made a silent vow that I won't leave him alone ever again. And then the infirmary door creaked open.....
And Nico entered. His hair was messier than ever and was covered in twigs. As soon as he entered, I bolted towards and him and he handed me the laurel leaf and goblet of nectar that I had asked him to bring. I shooed them away from the infirmary as the healing will be a bit bloody and I don't want them to see it.
WILL:
Dad drove us out. We had protested but our protests fell to deaf ears. I asked Nico, "How did you get these twigs in your hair?" He looked away and shrugged. He narrated what happened in Olympus.
NICO:
I bowed before the tree and asked for a laurel leaf and a goblet of enchanted nectar that Apollo had asked me to get. A woman came down from the tree. She wore green robes made of leaves. She was so beautiful that had I not been gay, I would have fallen for her. She asked 'Why do you want these?' I replied, 'To save the life of my friend. And Lord Apollo has asked me to get them.' She smiled, 'You're brave. Lord Apollo only asks for my leaves when there is an emergency.' I asked, 'Do your leaves have any special characteristics?' She got a bit angry and threw few twigs at me,'My leaves can cure any poison or wounds. Just it needs to be given before the person dies. They are used very rarely. Because my lifeline is connected to Lord Apollo. If my leaf is used when he is weak, he will grow weaker and may even lose his immortality.' I said, 'Please give me those. My friend has very less time left.' I begged her with puppy eyes and pouted and she gave me the leaves.
WILL:
I shook my head and told him, "Let's wait. I believe my dad can heal Percy. After all he is the God of Medicine." But Nico said, "I heard a rumour from the tree that Zeus is planning to deprive Apollo of his godlihood. It's just a matter of time before he is a mortal." We heard a groan coming from the infirmary. We rushed in to check. What we saw stunned us. Apollo was on the floor, trying to get up, ichor, the golden blood of Gods dripping from his hand. He asked, "Give me some ambrosia and nectar quick," he said. I rushed to get the divine food and helped him up. Dad took a bite of ambrosia square and a drink of nectar. He said, "Get out because I will have to take my divine form to heal him." We were heading out hesitantly when Lord Poseidon arrived in a flash of sea vapours. We bowed to him. The God of the sea said, "Need some help nephew?" Dad replied, "Yep! It would be appreciated, Uncle Don." We went out of the infirmary and Lord Poseidon closed the doors with a wave of his hand.
