APOLLO:

I remember fainting after I heard Percy murmuring Annabeth's name. It reminded me that he can never be mine. I won't allow it if it causes him his life and I am determined to do so. I slowly opened my eyes and found myself in a room  where three tunnels met. Looking around I saw that the floor, walls and ceiling were made of marble and drawings of different Gods and Goddesses were present on them. There was a marble fountain in the middle of the room. I realised I was in the labyrinth. I was just thinking how I came in here when the three fates: Clotho (Spinner), Lachesis (Allotter), and Atropos (Inflexible) arrived. I went down on my knees and bowed to them as the future of everyone lies in their hands. I was afraid that they had come to talk about me breaking the sacred oath to save Percy. I tried to hide my fears as much as possible and fixed my eyes on the floor. Atropos said, "Morpheus and Hypnos are becoming lazy day by day. It took them so much time to get us in his dream." Lachesis ignored her sister and said, "Apollo, you have used the sacred method to save Perseus Jackson even though you swore in the name of Chaos that you won't use that method ever again. Do you know what is the result of breaking an oath taken in Chaos' name?"

I lowered my head and nodded. My eyes stung with tears but I blinked them away. She continued, "You have a last chance to get your soul mate." My heart leaped at the very thought. I was unlucky enough to have lost Hyacinthus who the Fates claimed was my soul mate but they said it after his death. So, there was nothing to be done. Now Atropos said, "Percy will be angering Zeus soon and would be sent to the mortal world. If you go there with him, without any of your godly powers, and can save him from breaking down to his fears, you may have a chance to be with him. And the most important thing is that you need to experience Tartarus as you have broken the sacred oath." They went silent giving me some time to process their words. I looked up at them and finally mustered the courage to ask the question which had bothered me since I met the certain demigod son of Poseidon, "Is Percy the reincarnation of Hyacinthus?" Clotho nodded. I said, "I am willing to take any punishment for breaking my oath if it means that my soul mate is safe and I have a chance to be with him." By this time, tears made their way from my eyes, sliding across my cheeks, only to drop on the marble floor.

"OK then, and good luck young God. You have suffered enough for love but you and Percy can never be together if Aphrodite doesn't take back her curse.", the three Fates said in chorus and left. My eyes closed and  everything became dark till I opened them once more to find Hermes hovering over my face as if I was a ghost. I sat up and looked. I was still in the infirmary of Camp Half Blood. Hermes said with a raised brow, "What's this Apollo? I took you here to save Percy and you yourself fainted and are lying in a bed while your patient is wide awake." I looked over to Percy's bed only to find in empty. I got tensed and asked, "Where's---" I was interrupted by Poseidon flashing inside the infirmary. The Lord of the Seas said, "Hermes, hurry to the amphitheater. Zeus is asking for you." Hermes flashed away. I looked up at my uncle and said, "What did I miss?"
