I was instantly hit with a wave of nausea.

"What are you saying?"

She looked at me with sympathy, "Your bond is equally rare as it is intense, if I'm completely honest...it's developing too fast. Two months is the average time it takes the average lycan and human to fully complete the mating process, that's because the human body can only take so much change in a short span of time. For werewolves and humans, a month is enough because humans don't really gain any powers, sharper sense and some strength are usually the limit. A bond between you and Kol, an alpha lycan, is far stronger, much more intense and comes with a lot more physical changes therefore harder on your body. What I'm trying to say is that your body can't keep up. And the change of the bond isn't only a physical process, it's also mental and emotional. Kol let me know you got sick earlier, but other symptoms are hallucination and erratic behavior. Alice...you've already hallucinated," I almost choked on air. "And you didn't even realize it. That's why I'm here. We need to slow this down, for your own good."

My heart began to beat faster, "What do you mean hallucinate? I- I haven't seen anything-"

She shook her head, "Not shadowy figures, Alice. You'll hallucinate very vividly. Like I said, you already have. And I had a front row seat thanks to my abilities. I know what you saw, who you saw." She sighed and let me sit with my thoughts while she opened the door. Devon was still out there, and they spoke in hushed whispers, before she walked back into the room and shut the door again.

"Alice, the bottom line is that Kol's absence isn't making you sick. In the average human and lycan relationship, this happens on a low scale. That's normal. But in your case, it's having him too close that's causing your issues."

"No, that just- It makes no sense. I don't think-"

"I'll show you." She got up to open the door, Devon and the doctor who had shown up in Kol's room appeared. Then she shut the door once more.

I watched her every move, trying to understand what she would do. At this point my throat felt dry and my stomach churned.

"Luna," The doctor nodded at me, I nodded back.

"Sabine, long time no see," He greeted Sabine with a smile but she kept her eyes on me, "It's been far too long, Alexander."

It didn't click at first.

Alexander.

The Alexander I'd met early in the morning had green eyes, blonde hair and thick brown eyebrows -- he'd been a replica of Greyson, college Greyson.

This wasn't Alexander. This doctor looked nothing like Greyson.

"Alexander?" I whispered confused.

The doctor looked at Sabine with panicked eyes, "Sabine," he reprimanded her, "Does the Alpha know you're telling her?"

"You can go now, Alex. And don't worry, he knows I'm here."

I grew even more confused, tears of frustration began to form. It was too much information in such little time.

If I was understanding correctly, the first time I met Alexander were the moments I'd hallucinated. He looked exactly like Greyson, but that obviously wasn't his true appearance. But why Greyson of all people?

Sabine spoke again, softly, once Alexander left, "There's only one doctor that has treated you, Alice. That, who you saw just now, that was Alexander. You hallucinated, your mind made you see Greyson. The real Alexander has brown eyes, and he's a brunette. Alexander's got a twin named Greyson, but that is where the similarities stop. Your Greyson, is not the one in this pack."
