"Don't." Kol's voice sounded strained as he laid behind me, but I kept my eyes closed.

"Mmm?" I didn't bother talking, I just hummed in response.

"Stop moving against me mate." This time I recognized Zeon's deep tone and I realized I'd been rocking my body against his lower half ever so slowly.

Oops. "Oh, sorry Zeon."

He silently continued to stroke his fingers on my body, his fingertips lingering on my hip -- my tattoo.

"Why Z?"

I opened my eyes this time and turned my body a little to look into his blue-grey eyes, "Why not Z?" My voice was accompanied by the swishing of water crashing against the marble tub.

He smiled, "Zeon likes it."

"I wonder why." I replied, a small smile accompanied a soft shake of my head.

He huffed and kept his eyes on me, realizing I hadn't answered his question. I could tell he wouldn't push me to tell him more, but I realized I wanted to, so I sat up and turned my entire body so I sat sideways on his lap.

I spoke as I looked back up at him, "My sister..."

His stare grew a little more intense as my hear beat faster. I took a deep breath and he wrapped his left arm around my waist, but he still didn't say anything.

"Her name was Zara... she was beautiful. Extremely gorgeous actually." I smiled softly.

I tried to recall the memories of us together.

But they were fading so fast.

If I didn't have pictures of her back home, I would have forgotten her thin lips, full cheeks and round brown eyes.

My eyesight turned into a blur of colors.

I hadn't noticed Kol's eyes shining a bright yellow until he turned my chin so I could look at him.

"You're okay, mon amour." He placed his forehead on mine and whispered.

I didn't need to tell him she wasn't alive, or that I missed her with every ounce of my heart. He could tell, he knew.

I nodded and pulled away to look at him. His eyes were growing blue this time, Zeon wasn't as flustered anymore. If my tears upset him then how would he react if I ever got hurt?

I kissed him. Softly, but it was also hard. I wanted the belly of butterflies and the sparks of electricity to return like they always did when we kissed. They didn't disappoint.

A single thought ran through my mind as our lips met. He's so perfect.

I smiled as I pulled away, "Thank you."

He looked at me curiously with narrowed eyes.

"What?" I felt a little exposed, but not because we were still naked, but because his stare was heavy.

He shook his head, "Nothing."

I was confused but decided to let it go.

Sfter a few more minutes, we decided to head back downstairs and when we did, I asked him about the run, "What time are we going for a run?"

 "Around 8, not too late."

"Okay."

When we walked back to the pool, I walked out of Kol's arm and to Ava and Penelope who were sitting on the edge of the pool, feet dangling in the water. Penelope wore a cute, black two-piece.
