Eda noticed the door wide open when she finally arrived at the house with King. Running up to Luz's room to check if she was up there she heard a thumbing noise on the other side of the door. Carefully opening it she peeked her head inside. All she saw was Luz and Amity cuddling with each other with her tail making the noise. King did the same as Eda, "are we interrupting them?" King looked up at Eda. "No no, this just got interesting" Both looking at each other with a huge grin across their faces. "It seems she'll finally make progress controlling her emotions with the Blight girl." Eda calmed down. Going downstairs she needed to clean the house, it was a mess.

"It's morning..." staring at the ceiling Amity felt Luz's hand over her stomach, she didn't mind. Looking at her phone to check the time it was three hours before school. Unlocking it she noticed the missed calls from her siblings and mother. She sprang up from fear knowing if she retuned now she'll be grounded for who knows how long. Feeling Amity jump made Luz do the same. Her wolf features become dominate quickly yet she wasn't fully transformed ready to protect Amity. "What's wrong!" Luz worried looking at Amity who stood there shaking. Frozen in place she stared at her phone. She forgot to tell her parents or sibling anything. "I- um it's nothing Luz. Sorry for startling you. I have to go home." Luz's ears went flat against her head letting out a whimper, "you can't stay a little longer...?" "Sorry Luz, I can't it's just-" Amity cut herself off. "It's complicated, you know how my parents are." "Can I at least walk you home?" Luz waited for an answer. Amity thought for a second, she'll definitely need some form of comfort after dealing with her parents. She nodded. Luz's ear perked up, tail wagging.

Luz could tell Amity was tense during the walk, she wasn't saying a word and speed walking. It was obvious she was terrified, but why? "Hey Amity?" No answer. This only made her walk faster. If she continued to push her this may result in her becoming mad. Luz could think of only one thing to do, grab Amity's hand to comfort her. The rest of the walk was silent.

They stopped at the treeline when they arrived to avoid being seen together. "Bye Luz, see you at school hopefully..." They both went in for a hug. "I'll watch you from here, I'll leave once I see you go inside." Amity only hugged Luz tighter. Letting go she fixed herself up while walking up to the front door. Looking behind her she saw Luz watching her from the treeline to ensure she made it inside. They exchanged one last wave before she went inside.

"I just want to make sure she makes it to her room with no problems... nothing wrong with that right?" Making sure no one saw her she went to the window where Amity's room was. She couldn't see inside since it was the second story. If Luz concentrated she could probably hear if Amity opened the door. Sitting down in the bushes to avoid being caught she waited patiently. It wasn't long after when she heard Amity enter the room and opening her window. Sighing with relief she got up ready to leave until Luz heard her door slam open.

"Amity where have you been! It's very irresponsible of you to do this. You better have a good excuse." Her mothers words made her go silent. Looking at the ground her mind was racing, she couldn't think. Everything was fuzzy. "You've been lacking in school ever since that human came. I forbid you to go near her. You aren't allowed to go anywhere. I'll have your siblings watch you and ensure you go to school then come back here immediately." Her eyes grew wide. Before she could build up the courage to speak a slap made her come back to reality. It was silent, not a word was said. "Remember our little agreement Mittens, listen to everything I say and you won't get hit. We'll discuss further punishment later." Amity kept looking at the ground in shock. It was embarrassing and humiliating. Luz could feel the rage building up, she could hear everything. What Amity's mother said made her heart ache. "Yes Mother." Luz was able to tell her voice was quivering. The door slammed shut, Luz took that as her cue to move. Jumping up to the window she climbed in with ease. Amity didn't move. Luz could see tears forming in her eyes and a red spot on her cheek from the slap. "Amity ar-" before she could even ask, "not right now Luz" she turned her back trying to hide her tears. "I think you should go."
