"Do you want to talk about it?" Luz asked. Amity just leaned against Luz's shoulder staying silent for a moment. "I'm just worried about you as well as my parents finding me." It was silent, Amity kept looking out the window lost in her thoughts. Luz held her hand comforting the green haired witch to the best of her abilities. Luz thought about something she wanted to do for so long, leaning in she kissed Amity on the cheeck. "Since you don't like me showing you affection in my wolf form I might as well do it when I'm mostly human." Luz gave an awkward smile not sure if was the right thing to do. Trying to hide her face due to the blushing she noticed Amity was turning red too. Amity chuckled giving her a kiss on the cheeck too. Luz placed her hand over her cheeck, tail wagging she hugged Amity making them fall to the floor.

The two of them stayed up till the sun rose, by this time Amity's phone was dead. "I'll let Emira and Edric know I'm safe at school. Hopefully they won't tell mother." Luz was asleep, seeing her ears twitching made her heart melt. She needed to change her clothes, the sleeve was ripped from the previous night. Not only that she didn't have her textbooks or school bag. Poking Luz she tried to wake her up, "Luz... Luz!" She unwillingly got up, tilting her head she asked, "what happened?" "I need your help getting in my room without my parents noticing." Luz nodded getting up walking outside ready to go. By the time Amity was outside Lus was in her wolf form stretching on the ground. "You're acting more like a wolf each night you know." She crossed her arms. Luz got up pouting at the fact she said that.

At the treeline Amity noticed the sheet she used to get down was taken down, the window was closed as well.  Luz laid down and barked to get Amity's attention. "You want me to get on your back..?" Luz nodded. Once she was on Amity held on to her fur tightly. It was only when Luz started running she screamed. Jumping up to the second story Luz clawed on to the ledge. Amity climbed onto the ledge opening the window. Luz followed behind quickly climbing in. Amity rushed to grab a new uniform, her school bag and a few extra clothes. They left making sure to stay low. Luz dropped Amity off at Hexside. Transforming back she gave a hug, "I'll meet you here after school. I can't bring myself to go today." Amity nodded. They both went their separate ways.

Once Luz entered she saw Eda and King sitting on the couch together watching tv. "Aren't you supposed to be at school?" King said. Luz flopped onto the couch, "I don't think I'll be able to bring myself to school today..." Luz rubbed the back of her neck out of guilt and shame. Eda rubbed the top of Luz's head, "that's alright kiddo, maybe tomorrow you can try again.

Amity gave her extra belongings to Luz so she wouldn't have to take them to school. She needed to look for her annoying siblings. "Mittens!" Apparently they found her first. The both hugged Amity. "What happened to you!" Emira asked. "I-" how was she going to explain. "I'm helping a friend out." Amity replied. Emira and Edric looked at each other with concern. "Mittens you look tired. It's bad for your skin!" Edric teased. This only caused her to give them an annoyed look. "You know mom was furious that we lost you yesterday. Especially with the whole incident." Emira put her hand on her side standing she always does. Edric nodded in agreement. "You'll be in big trouble!" Edric smiled. "I'm not going home." Amity looked away with an angry yet upset look. "But why?" Emira was the one that always took things more seriously than Edric. "I just have to help someone. I can't stand mother either." They all understand why. "Fine, Edric and I will use our illusions to trick our parents. But you owe us big time. It won't work forever either." Amity was shocked. Shocked that they were helping her. She embraced them for a hug. "Thank you." "So is it Luz?" Edric whispered. Amity frowned and walked away. "Yes!" She ran off.

Nothing significant happened that day, the only thing that changed was a few missing doors, more hall monitors and less bullying. Boscha was embarrassed, she showed up to school with bandages covering her head and torso. Boscha laid low trying to not draw attention to herself.

During lunch Amity sat at her usual spot with Boscha and Skara. They all stayed silent either eating or doing their homework. It was interrupted when Amity was approached by Willow and Gus. "We need to talk." This made her break a sweat. Gus grabbed Amity dragging her off. "What is it?" Amity tried to sound normal. "What happened to Luz this time? She disappeared again yesterday lunch." Gus told Amity. "Yeah! She isn't telling us anything either. Everytime she's around you something happens!" Both Amity and Gus could hear a harsh tone coming from Willow when she spoke. "It isn't my place to say. I don't fully understand what's happening myself!" Amity gave the same tone back. Gus could tell that they were both becoming irritated. "You can't just keep Luz for yourself!" Willow started yelling. "It's her choice to go to whomever she wants when she's in trouble!" Amity knew if she spoke anymore the secret would surely get out. "You know what Amity! We-" "Okay! Well it was nice talking Amity! Come on Willow." Gus grabbed Willow walking them away from the green haired witch. Willow glared back. She wanted answers. The bell rang, lunch was over. "I wonder what she was going to say. Well whatever it qas it didn't sound nice." Amity thought. Amity wanted to just disappear, it was all too much for her. "Just a few more classes..." she got up heading to her next class.
---------------------------------------------------------
"Everyone has secrets Willow. We can't exactly force them out either." Gus placed his hand over Willow's shoulder. Willow stared angrily as Amity went in the opposite direction of her home. "They're hiding something, I know it." She clutched her hand into a fist.

Luz sat in the forest near Hexside waiting for her green haired witch. Once she saw a glimpse of green hair she jumped up running up to her. "Amity!" Her tail was swaying back and forth at the sight of her. Amity smiled and waved yawning right after. "So... I was wondering maybe tomorrow night you'd like to go on a... date?" Luz's ears went flat against her head, tail between her legs scared of the answer. "I'd love t-" Her response was slow and sluggish, almost falling to the floor Luz caught her in time. "I guess the exhaustion finally caught up to her." Luz picked her up with ease carrying her to the owl house. Today it seemed her tail couldn't stop wagging.

It wasn't going to be easy for the twins to trick their parents with simple illusions. When they entered Edric drew a blue spell circle. Next to them Amity appeared. Alador nodded once they saw each other. He headed down to the basement to work on his inventions. Odalia entered. The twins felt a chill go down their spins. "Welcome home. I need a word with Amity alone." The twins nodded heading around the corner. If they were too far away the illusion would disappear.

"Amity! Where have you been?" She waited for an answer but no response. "You are in big trouble! Do you know how much trouble you've caused? Your grades have been dropping and you don't tell us where you are." No response again. "Answer me!" She attempted to slap Amity's face but instead she disappeared. A blue smoke replacing her instead. "Where is she!" Odalia screamed.

Around the corner the twins looked at each other silently. "Is this what mom does to Amity?" Emira covered her mouth. Emira and Edric eyes started watering. "The amount of trouble we get her in..." A wave of guilt came over the both of them. Running to their rooms they didn't want to be next. They needed to tell Amity what just happened.

"I will find her!" Odalia barged into Aladors work space. He looked at her with the same tired eyes. "Get the abomaton 3.0. She won't be able to hide forever." Alador didn't like the sound of this coming from his wife. Pulling the lever an abomination woke up. "Go and find my daughter." Odalia demanded. The abomination wasted no time, using the elevator it rose up from the ground into their living room. Emira and Edric saw it from the dining table. "We have to warn her!" Edric leaned in whispering to Emira. "On it!" Emira got out her phone.
---------------------------------------------------------
"She's still asleep?" Eda walked into Luz's room where Amity laid unconscious. Luz nodded. "Come downstairs. You haven't left her side since she came here. It's been hours." Eda said. Luz wouldn't let go of her hand. "Kid she won't get better with a big furry beast clinging to her. You can cuddle with your girlfriend later." Luz's ears went flat against her head embarrassed. "King saw what happened last night. You two lovebirds woke him up." Luz ran past her not wanting to be teased. Eda laughed closing the door leaving the blight girl to rest. Her phone was charging, a ding could be heard. It was a text from Emira, "abomaton 3.0 just went out to find you. Be careful Mittens."
